Very interesting question, I'm glad that u asked it. This is like asking whether studying 'Medicine' or 'Engineering' or 'Commerce' a profitable career path. UI UX is currently in demand and there is a lot of money and speculation surrounding it, but who know in 4 years? Industrial design is a difficult career as it need a lot of physical, managerial, empathetic and so on roles to be played. There is a lot of physicality involved, its thus more difficult to design and create a new spoon than a web app or a mobile app. People choose careers based on money and passion, if it is money, then why not do business, trading, etc? Design is also a highly competitive field, especially like transportation design where there are only a few companies and studios around the world, but why do people yearn and try to become car designers? Passion, yearning, dreams, these are separate from money. Money is needed, but is it the only thing you want? So finally it comes to your choice and your drive. Good luck.

This is a good question. What we have to look into is the job profiles that they have gotten into. Is it into UI/UX or is it furniture design or fashion or industrial. As per today's standards ux and ui jobs have good packages. But it is what you studied design to become? Is it a job where I can work passionately? Will the jobs exist in the next 5 years? Are these jobs in India? These would be some interesting questions to ponder about. Surely people who are good with their work and who move on into better packages might get higher packages as they move from one company to another. So at the end of the day it becomes an individual perspective which jobs to choose and paths to walk on

@@Prtkid most people does product design and hired by Microsoft. I wanna know what's the maximum they could get in 10-15 years. For software engineers, I've heard like 4cr and all . What's the case of designers ?

If they do product design in Microsoft it is digital product design which in turn is UIUX. I don't know what anyone will get in 10-15 years, honestly. I don't know how the world or employment culture will be in the 10-15 years. I'm not a financial advisor or analyst. You will have to find out for yourself. You can probably do the same things as they did and get the same outcome. For designers it depends on your profile and employers.

Logo design mainly comes under graphic design or visual communication domain in design. Product designers also design logos but not most of the time. Some of the jobs u can take online could be freelance design projects and projects where u have ur interest.
