I have the elegoo phecda 20w and I cannot get it to connect to lightburn so annoying, any tips you have on connecting this machine to Lightburn would be greatly appreciated.

You should really watch Maker's Muse's video on laser engravers before buying or using them. Seriously.

If you have common sense, it won't be a problem. My latest 100T press has a warning not to put your head in it 😂😂

The biggest issue is knowing the composition of the materials you're essentially lighting on fire in an enclosed space. Things like faux leathers contain PVC, and burning PVC emits hydrogen chloride gas. Not something you want to breathe in an enclosed space (or an open space for that matter 😄)

I own a printing business. Does anyone from the Grim Reapers crew make those? I'd love to make and supply decals that you can sell for merchandise for the channel. I was thinking about adding a laser engraver to my business arsenal but my workspace is inside my house and proper ventilation and fire prevention isn't something I have at the moment. I keep hearing good things about Elegoo machines. Very good review.

lol covering the framing would be a complete pain in the ass to get things into it, enclose it or vent it if left open. The tall legs would be advantageous though

Got to be the worst engraver out. loads of faults. air filter is a joke, the orange so called protection serves no purpose as you can see with all the UV light escaping and as for the goggles, trash them and get some genuine safety goggles.

Why? Sounds like you don't even own 1.... Air filter is fine but not adequate obviously (All Engravers need some kind of enclosure).... The Orange acrylic sheet's purpose is to direct the smoke for extraction to the filter - THAT is it's purpose, not really for protection. The only good point you made was the goggles. As someone that actually owns this machine - It's fantastic when dialed in! Never had a "Fault" or issue that couldn't easily be rectified.
