Yo. Thanks for all your videos. Thinking about this speaker for a tailgate set up. I know I can pair 6 speakers with the Everse 8 at one time via their app. Has anyone tried two speakers and I’m assuming it connects via xlr? No blue tooth?
I have a pair of these! Have you checked to see if your mic had a -20db button on it somewhere dropping the volume on your mic? My mic did and when I adjusted that, my mic volume was way better.
Eon One Pro has terrible weak instrument pre amps on all channels. It is only powerful on Bluetooth. I paid $1,300 when it was new. I've seen it as low as $500!
Awesome video...I picked up 2 of these summer 2020 for the same reason. I also purchased a Denon Prime Go to have a battery powered mixer as well. They sound amazing for ceremonies and I also used for some smaller house party events and received nothing but high praise for the sound coming out of these
I've got a Maui 5 GO and Maui 5 go 100 that I use as a stereo pair and I'm very happy with how they sound and they really pack a great punch for their compact size. They alto look great. They do lack a bit of high end sparkle but an external mixer with improved eqs can mic pres will sort that out. Saying that, even without an external mixer they sound great.
Thank you for the review. I just purchased two of them. Have not had a chance to use them yet. I was thinking of using them both on a 50th anniversary party I have that has a 46 person guest count in a small room. Would you use two of them together as a small system for small events to handle the whole event?
THanks for an awesome review! Do you know if the original Maui 5 (no "Go" in the name") have the same or different connectors between parts (hence compatible or not)?
I have the regular Maui L5 (no battery) and I think it's ok but that's it. The pro to this system that really impressed me was the feedback reduction tech it has which is very impressive. I like that it's light and portable. However, I have to crank the master volume up to about 70% before really hearing anything. The lack of projection is hugely disappointing! The specs claim 800 Watts peak which is the reason I bought it in the first place. Like the saying goes, "You can't judge a book by its cover!". lol My 300 Watt Behringer Ultratone K3000FX absolutely destroys the Maui L5 in both sound quality and projection. My Behringer is more susceptible to mic/instrument feedback and is pretty heavy to carry. lol Just my 2 cents! I appreciate your input and I enjoyed your video! Cheers!
I just picked up two regular Maui 5 systems like you have for smaller events is smaller type rooms. Seems like you have had one longer. I bought them so i can have a small system for events under 100 people and for events that are not for teen events, etc. I have not had a chance to use them yet. Would you say two could handle that for the entire event?
Can you just set up a rechargeable 12 or 15" DJ speaker maybe like the new mackie or there's gotta be a speaker out there that is chargeable and Wi-Fi or Bluetooth? And then set that up with speaker stand tripod
@@DjJayBook I just noticed that American DJ has a battery power 15" it's only 200 W but it comes with the microphone, And it has wheels and To Rolla with an extender handle like a suitcase
What's up Jay!!! Very nice upgrade. Quality, less work & very practical. Work smart & not hard. Can't wait to see gig log in action with these. Take care! Be safe 👃
