Thank you mate for the view, the review's timing is just spot on 👌. I was looking for a compact impact wrench and was very close to choosing this one, and now it's sealed.
I have had one of these for about a year. Only thing I've tried it HASN'T zipped off were some exhaust studs, which if you've worked on cars much know those suckers are ON THERE when they're nice and old with tons of rust. Haven't had a lug nut stop it yet, along with other bolts. Remember tho that extensions or wobbles take away an impact's torque. So if you can use smaller/few extensions with it, do so. It will perform better
I can attest that it will in fact zip and shred the threads on the exhaust studs if you don't notice it skipped a thread. Turned my stud a shiny dowel.
It will get some lug nuts, but not all. Removal requires more torque than installation when they’ve been installed for a while. So if you have say an F-150 where those are torqued to 150 ft-lbs and it has been 6 months, you’ll need a bigger impact. That being said, this tool is ridiculous for its size. It makes short work of suspension and brake caliper bracket bolts. You can feel the power just spinning it without a load.
