I've purchased this paint book in Ebony/Black, in addition to larger canvas extenders, the magnetic medium cup, brushes, 11 x 14 magnetic canvas panels, and an extra wood palette. I received the light today! I purchased an additional 3-hour battery as a back-up. This paint book is not only gorgeous, it's rock sturdy especially with the magnetic components for canvas, knifes, and the palette. I love the light because you can utilize the provided filters. You can paint on cloudy days or at night. The purchase is well worth it for the artist, and will last a lifetime with care. Too bad I missed the contest! lol However, your video is great. How sturdy is the paintbook when in use? Does it move much when painting? I'm assuming it's pretty solid if doing smaller paintings and may have motion when doing larger paintings...
I hate this because I love it. Bye money.. i have to get the paint book and possibly the sketch book (Although the sketch book can wait). I've been going back and forth on this and EasyL for the past 6 months or so. Thanks to this video, I now realize this paint book has all and can do all that EasyL can do plus I can use it in my studio to lay flat as my palette and have all the room I need to mix with a second palette added. This sold me. Done, decision made, get the wallet out and make the phone call. now I just have decide what color...
Edge: I have been looking for a Plein Aire setup for about 6 months now. Fall is coming soon so the weather is beginning to be a little more hospitable allowing me to venture out into the Texas heat to paint. Most seem to be built for right handed people but this one looks like I can easily change it to be user friendly to a left handed person. Thank you for advertising this set up and for the opportunity to win one. I love your videos....all of them; from the art talks to the demonstrations.
My tutor had the whole Edgeprogear set up during a workshop in Bathurst, Australia, and I found it amazing, so compact and practical. I Awsome! All of us in the class wanted a paintbox but, I guess, it's a matter of what we can afford.
I have discover resently the Edge Products while looking for the Sachet Charcoal for drawing. Impressive result. I love the EdgeProGear Paintbook. It can be carry like a big purse WoW, specially when doing outdoor camping to paint Spring & Autumn scene. I found the protection spot under the glass plaque a fantastic idea.
Edge, I have followed the Edge-pro for a couple years and have been totally impressed with it’s thoughtfulness in design and versatility in use. Hoping to win, but eventually will save up to purchase one!
nice new paintbook..easel....now i know theres kind of easel like this for easy on the go paint in plein air...i should have try this one... #where can we buy this stuff.
I’ve used these and they’re much like carrying a laptop. ‘Even use my old laptop bags to carry. The palette can easily be removed and refrigerated. EDGE
6th use. I use mine as a dinner tray or as a table to support my fully assembled thunder megazord. It's just the right height for getting a accurate size difference between the megazord and tigerzord, which as many of you know were molded in two separate Chinese production factories- hence the discrepancy in size. Tigerzord should be only slightly shorter then the fully erect thunder megazord. Really helped with my power rangers display. I wish they'd make a slightly thicker one for my ninjazords.
