@@paulduxbury8359 Also had to rotate the lever almost 360 degrees for it to pop off. The plumber had to remove the fill valve fronm the cistern tank in order to pop the head open.
It's almost impossible to remove the head whilst in situ to replace the diaphragm. I bought a brand new one and couldn't get the head off even whilst in my hands and not installed. Almost feels like you're going to break it.
