God bless these guys. They sharpened and brought back to life my near 30 year old Climber. The British distributor had to send it to Ibach and they did not charge me anything (even though I offered). They even sent me a letter of apology and a complimentary Classic SD for returning it a bit late. Most companies would just say chuck it out and buy another one (I do in fact have several).You don’t realise how useful these are until you have one. Plus this is an ethical company that values their staff. They furloughed or lent staff to other companies when 9/11 massively hit their sales (no more duty free). They did not lay off a single person. What is not to love? I wish companies here valued their staff like this.

Truly awesome product. I never leave my house without my Explorer and Hiker in my pockets. I hope one day soon that Victorinox lets us pick our toolsets a la carte to make our knives truly unique to the individual.
I got my Swiss Army Knife for my 17th birthday. I have carried it everyday throughout my life. I just turned 61. It has been with me while on active duty with the U.S. Navy, service in the National Guard, and as a police officer. Thank you for making a quality product. Don't ever skimp on your process.

Sadly i dont still have my first one that started my journey into this legend . And regrettably that model is not available anymore. But it all started for me when i saw an astronaut with one, So i had to get that knife he was using ? That knife was the Master craftsman ! What a knife ! What a name .

Bought my first Swiss Army knife whenI was in the Army at Ft.Leonard Wood back in 1989. I still carry one now it’s a black alox pioneer that I picked up in NYC at the Victorinox store in SoHo. It’s in my pocket everyday.
I got my first Victorinox swiss army knife back in 2009, which my Uncle bought from Switzerland to India. It was my first introduction to a swiss army knife. Victorinox is always my favorite. I wanted a swiss champ from the past 12 years and hope to get a one in future. Victorinox products are not only products, they are masterpiece and always has a story behind it. Since a young kid I've loved these knives, my eyes would light up in the newsagents when I used to look at them under the glass counter. They were so pretty with the white lights shining on them. Eventually my mother gave in and bought me one when I was 11. I'm 43 years old and I still have that victorinox hiker, I've lost it several times but it always turned up again, I sent it back to victorinox for a refurb and it came back like new and only cost the postage to send it over. What can I say but your one of a kind, if every company ran like this the world would be a great place. I have collected many victorinox models knives since then and I continue to do so.. my plan is to install my own glass cabinet to display them in, that will bring me back to my childhood again!

I just picked up my Hunter Wood 55, absolutely adore it. The quality, and the fact that all materials are genuine including the real wood, just so cool. Sharpness, functions, utility, swiss quality. Epic little thing to have.

I've had a Victorinox of some kind since I was a kid; I'm 38 now. I plan to always have one the rest of my life. They're well built and the price is very reasonable.... Keep up the quality, customer service, and reasonable prices and I'll be a customer for life!!
I must admit, SAK’s are an addiction with me. I wish I could take my family for a tour of the factory on our next trip to Switzerland. I’d also love to see the iconic crossbow symbol return to the blades.
Still have my first Swiss knife since 1987 that was given to me as a gift, I am not sure about the model then but it's similar to the Huntsman now except there is no hook on the back. This knife is literally "numero uno" to my still growing collection of knives and multitools made and designed by Victorinox as well as Wenger.
I am actually going to buy the commercialy available Swiss Champ series which are 3 knives: the Swiss Champ, the Swiss Champ XLT and the Swiss Champ XXL. The reason I am doing this is that i have never had a Swiss Army Knife but I need a lot of tools.Thanks, Victorinox, for finally letting me decide what multitool I should get. God bless.

I have always loved Victorianox since I was given a Recruit by my father in 1976. However, I think this brilliant video should have given a nod/mention to Wenger as the two stories go hand in hand.

As i was growing up, I had very little exposure the Swiss Army knife. The red color was a turn off to me, how mistaken was I during all those years. I finally purchased one (with blue scales) at year 71 of my life and has not left my pocket since.
they are too good my dad had one swiss champ normal one his frnds uncle had stolen it from dubai and selled it to my dad when he was 10 years old and i lost that knife when i was 10 year old it lasted for 33 years beacuse of its quality and usefulness my dad never lost it. i truly beacame a fan of it
Does anyone know of a knife like a Spartan but with a file blade instead of small knife blade and a pair of scissors added Seems Victorinox make anything but that simple basic selection. Wonder why that is.?
