Hey everyone,
Finally one your high demand, i am uploading very advance video of Keying where i will tell you a Production technique for fixing white edges after doing keying.
Keying is a process where we use to shoot a character on Green screen or Blue screen and later in software like Nuke, wee key out green screen or blue screen and replaced them with our required background.
We normally end up with white edges after keying and in this video, i will be revealing Production secret for fixing those white edges.

a simple despill expression would work pretty neat. where it finds the spill area and replaces it with background, making it an error free workflow. No bright and dark edges, just proper pixel treatment. Though I appreciate your efforts. This type of problem generally occurs if footage was compressed to lower bit depth. Basically 32 bit float image will never have this problem.

Agreed, but not in every case we get 32 bit float data. Made this video for knowledge purposes and to make everyone aware that this method also can be used 🙂. Thanks for your valuable thoughts 🙂🙏

You can also do as well invert ur edge then use grade down in gain by using keymix

I don't know where and how fresher artist setup their accounts, and they post their work, and which things are essential to get a job. Bro let me know something, youre prefering Channel merge instead of merge. is there any advantage of using channel marge to copy two alphas. becuase merge does same thing right?

Merge works on RGBA and channel merge works on Alpha only.

Sir. I have a h264 compressed file which has major compression artifacts in it. It was converted from a mov file. Will reconverting the mp4 h264 file to mov/exr file brings back all lost information and remove the compression artifacts? Or is this process is irreversible?
