Oh Becky, the fabric is so beautiful! I think it would look good in both the living room and bedroom, but when you held it up in your bedroom, it really brought out the oranges and so forth in there, so I am leaning more towards the bedroom, but if you decide on the living room, that would be pretty too. Lily's place is adorable and will look so nice once she has everything organized, I love what you have done so far! What a wonderful video, thank you! 🌻🦉❤🦉🌻
I have to say that the fabric looks wonderful in your bedroom! It brings out the oranges and goes perfect with the picture you have hanging there next to your window!
I think the fabric should go in the bedroom, but I can see that I’m outnumbered. So either room will be lovely! Dinner looked yummy and it’ll be wonderful for your daughter and son-in-law to be so nearby ❤
I would keep the ones in the living room and add a panel on each side for color. It would put them in your beautiful bedroom. Gorgeous fabric❤️. Love love sunflowers.
Loved it best in the Bedroom because it really did pop the orange. I thought whichever you choose Will be wonderful because you are so talented. I did think the living room was a little busy with it and the bedroom was just perfect with it. But you know everybody has a different opinion. Your home is gorgeous 🙏❤️🤗
I love that fabric. It looks great in either room but I think it really pops in your bedroom best... wherever you put them I'm sure they will look great..I can't wait to see them wherever you put em..I love your video....
Oh my gosh, you made me hungry looking at your good old country dinner! That fabric is gorgeous and so YOU. It will look great in either room. I'm kinda partial to the bedroom because it really goes with the bedspread. Lily's house will be so cute; a true reflection of a "strong, independent woman"! 😊 Ya'll managed to get a lot done between the two of you. Looking forward to seeing the hutch decorated. Have a great week!
Such pretty fabric! I would love to see it in your living room because it would make a nice focal point there, framed by what you have on the walls left and right. It doesn't seem restful 🌛 (to me) for a bedroom, but it is cheerful. 🌻 Perhaps you can choose which of these is more important, or maybe it doesn't affect you that way. 💛
Hi Becky! I can totally relate to having multiple projects going at once. I'm so relieved to see that someone else has that same problem, lol! And that Lilly... she cracks me up! "I'm a strong, independent woman!" Yes you are, girl! 😂 The fabric is AMAZING in all it's vintage glory! It's so you and the colors of your soul! I think that fabric would make fabulous curtains in both rooms. How I would decide is by asking myself which room do I spend the most time in and can see those beautiful curtains longer. Then you have your answer. 😊 Thank you for sharing another great video! ❤
Becky I think the fab rry iv will be lovely in your bedroom!Good for you in doing the bathroom patch and paint!!It makes us gals feel good when get a project done!!!Have a great week!😁❤👍
Hi Becky, such an interesting video loved it so much! I think your vintage fabric is beautiful, it would look equally beautiful in either room. Go with your heart and you will be happy with your choice😀💕
I love the beautiful fabric. I think it would look beautiful in either room. I think the question is which room does it speak to your heart in. When my daughter ask me what do I like best I always say which one do you like best. I've always told her to choose what she likes because if I choose for her she won't be happy with it. I really enjoyed watching your video. I hope you have a great week. I can't wait to see which room you choose. ❤😊
Hi Becky your a busy devoted mum love how you just get stuck into what's need to be done glad you showed us what ya do great job and Love the fabric !You could do living room and bedroom ? 💛.
You're a busy woman ,I'm the same as you.Becky my mine runs in so many directions . I want to get so many different things done . Love the fabric curtains are going to be beautiful 😍
When you were getting ready to print off your pictures, I thought, geesh, I wish my printer would behave and print off pictures when I needed it to but then the error message happened and I could feel your pain, oh I could feel your pain. Every time. I feel ya! But on a happier note, I can’t wait to see what you are going to do with the fabric. My vote is the bedroom. Someone brought up a great point in the comments. They might clash with your holiday decorations if you have them in the living room.
The fabric is perfect. I think it would look best in your living room, but that’s just my opinion. 😊 Love to see Lily and her new home is going to be perfectly decorated. I love both of your tastes in the vintage style. ❤
Living Room! Beautiful fabric. Gonna be so pretty! I have to blame you for the money I spent on Etsy today though...new kitchen curtains. Way different from yours, but those dairy cows and those milk jugs and chickens are gonna look so cute in my kitchen window. I needed something to filter some of that Florida sunshine that blinds me from my sitting spot in the living room. I can't look into the kitchen without being reminded of that old 70's song...Blinded by the Light...cause it does just that. I love Lily's decorating. I have lots of colors, and lots of things in my kitchen and dining room...a Lot of Vintage. Now that I've seen the top of her Kitchen cabinets, I think I have some plates/platters, that I can add behind some of those things. Every time I watch one of your video's, I have to get up and move something, clean something, or buy something .lol Thanks to you and Lily for the video. We planted Blueberry, and Blackberry Bushes this week, and a Mulberry Tree that Home Depot had for 1/2 price. My husband has been living in the garden section for the past week.
That's so fun Debbie, sometimes we need a little refresh in our home and yard. I love this time of year because I really get excited about all those little updates. I know your curtains are going to be precious!
I swear we are twins separated at birth! 😂 I absolutely love your vintage fabric! Shoot… I’d wrap that around every window in the house! If you find you have leftovers bring it and to your sewing machine and come make me some! 😂❤ On a serious note.. lol… the fabric almost matches my couch! Yep …Gods honest truth😅 ☀️🧡🌼✌🏼
lol! From the comments I’ve read we are definitely no help to you! Half of us think bed room and the other half think living room. I like both but don’t get rid of the living room curtains cuz when you decorate for Christmas I can see the colors bothering you. I love the fabric and can’t wait to see what you decide to do. My granddaughter just moved back to town with her new husband, he’s having to get used to how close she is to her grandma but she has my carpet shampooer, some sheets and the dog kennel lol. I totally get running things to Lily. I’m so, so happy to have my baby girl home so it’s all worth it and I’m sure you feel the same way! Gotta love those babies!
You are so right Nancy, I will want to take out all the orange and yellow come Christmas time. I kept the beige curtains so I can switch them out come Christmas time. Also yes, I will drag everything I own over there just to know she is back home and close enough to me that I can get to her if I need to. ( 1 week to go)
I love the curtains in your bedroom! The curtains seem to take on whatever color (orange or yellow) that is in the room :) Could you please show us how to print out pictures on the computer?
This is really smart and I never even considered it before. Luckily the fabric turned out to be wider than I thought and I only needed the one panel. But so good to know for the future.
Hi Becky, You certainly did have a very busy day! I love that fabric,I think it would look gorgeous in the living room, especially with your new plates in your hutch. If you have leftover fabric maybe you can make a valance and tiebacks and incorporate them with your existing bedroom curtains. Wherever you use the fabric it will definitely SHINE!!! LOL❤️
Beautiful fabric. I can’t decide which room either. From my view the fabric is perfect for both rooms!!! Looks like they can be swapped out as you desire.
Whatever you decide will be pretty. So like your husband I much preferred your vintage kitchen valance with the wallpaper. But I am from India and mixed prints textures colors way way before it became okay in America 😊 PS grow sunflowers from seed in a patch at your entry they are hard to kill they are an annual. You are so blessed to have your kids live close by. Enjoy that as a blessing
I like the material in either room you have a decision to make. lol glad it's you and not me.I was always taught that was the Lord talking, and you need to be quiet and listen.great video thanks for sharing
Fun video, I relate to error messages! One point, don't apologize for cutting up your pizza. Please don't be that person who thinks they have to apologize for everything, it's pizza! If somebody has a problem with that, they have a sad life.
Hi Becky, thanks for sharing your day with us. I love the fabric, it is so you!! 🧡💛💚🤎 Looking forward to seeing where you decide to use it. If the Jasmine is "happy" where it is, it will grow like crazy. I had it along a north facing side fence for years, then, it all had to be cut back and down when the fence was replaced. It didn't take that long for it to completely cover the fence again and I have to prune it about twice a year.
I hope it does well. I have never had a lot of luck in this yard getting things to grow. David on the other hand can plant anything. I am trying to get the nerve to try more, it’s just hard to see something die when I spent money on it.
Hi Becky- I would never even think I could do that toilet paper holder job because I couldn't but you were not only brave to try it- you did it! Congratulations! I love days of getting lots of little jobs done- feel great, doesn't it? I was raised by a very abusive, awful grandmother and when there was a storm, I had to sit in the dark, not talk and not move. So I don't do that now but I think of it whenever it's storming.
That’s terrible Carolyn, I’m sorry you had to grow up that way. My mother was scared of water and storms and unknowingly passed that fear on to me. I’m not afraid of things like bugs, and critters. I’m afraid of the things I have no control over like bad weather.
Loved the video! Oh, friend, I felt like the curtain fabric got lost in your bedroom, but I thought it made your LR come alive! It will make stunning curtains and really ties everything together. I enjoy the videos that are all over the place because that is how I function as well and it all makes sense to me. 😅 Love and hugs and thanks for opening up your world to us and even asking for our opinions. I know you are going to make it look beautiful no matter what you decide. (Oh, and those artificial daisies in your outdoor planter look totally legit! I wouldn’t have known those were fake if you had not mentioned it. 😅)
