Hey guys! Today's Momtober video is an extremely productive day in the life of a mom. I am doing a major cleaning routine, baking pumpkin muffins, crockpot chicken tortilla soup for dinner and prepping toddler activities for the week. I wanted to get as much housework done as possible so I can enjoy some time off in a clean house. I hope you got some mom motivation in this video as I got a second wind of energy and motivation today haha

You two are just so cute!!! 💕 I recently found you and I’m so glad that I did!! I had unfollowed almost every mom vlogger because they were unrelatedable to me (nothing wrong with them at all!! No judgement or any shade at all!) but I have noticed most of them seemingly have like two nannies, a personal assistance or a husband filming/editing me 24/7 all while sinking into debt. I do however, have a toddler and a husband that travels out of state 5 days a week and we have no desire to “keep up with the Jones’s” lol I’m just enjoying and soaking up time with my little girl. Staying out of debt and drama 😉 I love how you make the best of what you have -that’s the best, to me!!!!

On the streusel the butter was too soft, start with really cold butter and add a tad bit more flour if necessary. I even use frozen butter and massage it in the flour mixture to create a crumble. Even some streusel recipe you bake that first and then sprinkle it on the batter so it doesn't sink through. Love u guys!

Love your squash-colored top in the opening: so appropriate to autumn. I love Sydney's dress. I love that you told us your dream, so now Sydney is telling us hers. And she's pacing the floor with her hands folded, like a big cat in the zoo or a monk/nun in a cloister saying their prayers. Yes, be linguistically precise: we can be current with our chores and errands, but they are NEVER done. LOL. I listen to you and try to remain open to what could work for me and how I can maybe do things that are crafty that I generally am not good at. But Sydney being such a unique, fragile little human, like all children, just has to open you up to listening and hearing what new ideas she has and where her imagination can take her and the listener. It's a joy. She is getting so good with her hands in the kitchen for her age. All this cooking/baking with you is developing her fine motor skills well. Those muffins look delish. I want some of that soup, too, now please. The glass table is perfect in that small dining area because it doesn't visually eat up any more space in the room, it transmits light, and it is easier to clean quickly than wood is. Does Sydney watch "Sesame Street," "Electric Company," "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" or any of those PBS children's shows that are designed with childhood educators and psychologists? You will catch up on her lessons. Momtober is one month a year. Consider it your fall break.

Enjoy ur relaxation now, thank you for being part of my life right now your positivity really is amazing xxx I feel exact same with the mum guilt when we have stuff to get done! I usually give in but it’s hard not to stress about the other things I need to get done , but I always just think you know what these moments are so short lived and as long as I balance I don’t feel as bad, like once my child has had that one to one attention and then I say look mummy has this to do or that to do, I know iv played with them already etc so don’t feel as bad.. but it’s hard coz if that stuff wasn’t done it would just put us in a bad mood and make us stress more !! Ha ! X
