Former vet assistant here! You’re doing a great job cutting their nails! Their nails are like ours so just make sure you don’t cut down to the quick (pink) because that’s where the blood supply is. If you ever do on accident you can dab something called quikstop onto it to stop the bleeding. If you’re in a pinch you can also use flour.

try feeding them twice or three times a day small portion. It might calm them down during food time and they won't be too excited. you can do automatic feeder. leave dry food out for them all day and give them wet in the morning/evening. Since they still young they should able to learn to eat when only hungry. every now and again you have cats that have no control and will eat till they sick

You're not alone. My apartment is infested with brown recluses and I keep telling my apartment (literally six months of venomous spider infestation!!!) but they keep sending OPC out.. no one comes!!! Absolutely over it and ready to sue lmao

Cat parent over here! Just a reminder to everyone that things like peppermint, cinnamon, tea tree etc are super toxic to cats and shouldn't be used in the home! Make sure you find cat-friendly oils for your diffusers, and cleaning supplies and stuff 💜

I live for your videos!!! I literally dont skip a second, love the calm vibes. I do have 1 question for the kittens! Do you leave like dry food out for them during the day? They seem a little hungry when you do give them food. With are cats we let them have dry food all day and its there if they want it and they have a time for there canned food. That might help!

Your kittens are so cute you are doing an amazing job ! Just a small side note for anyone. Some essential oils can be harmful to your pets it’s important to always keep that in mind you can look up the listing of which kind are the most harmful. I’m sure alot of people know this already I just thought it would be a nice fact to share. I live for essential oils and after I did some research into them I found out the above info :)

I used to put my kitten in a towel and hold him while I clipped his nails it comforted him, and as for how far to go if you look closely you’ll see there’s a significant line/color difference and where that line is that’s how far down you can go. It’ll be more white towards the top and you’ll see that after the line it’s pink

It's said to be harmful to cats. You can search about it. I just keep it in a place they won't be directly exposed too it and keep all my windows and fan on. Please be safe with essential oils! A lot of them are extremely dangerous for cats. Their bodies don’t metabolize it and it causes major health effects. It’s also cheaper to make your own spray (with non harmful oils) with an essential oil kit and cute amber bottles 🥰 I stopped using my diffuser for my kitties’ safety and had to relay the info!

Tip when swallowing pills, look down when you're about to swallow it helps them go down your throat easier. This works SUPER well with capsules, you might struggle with tablets.

I hate insects too! It's probably the area and all the trees (for like spiders and tree roaches/waterbugs). One place I lived in NC years ago, we had so many tree roaches at one point I was ready to break my lease! If I'm paying rent I don't wanna see not one insect/pest! LOL

Omg! I am the same way about animals. I balled my eyes out after watching a tok vid about a dog. I literally can NOT be on there anymore cuz of the animal videos people post. It's so sad. Some people are cruel, disgusting, and heartless when it comes to animals.. and why do they have to post stuff like that anyway?! I feel you on that tho.
