I just think you need a new shade for the shape tape concealer. That shade is way too light for you, so it's harder to blend because the color of your foundation and the color of the concealer just don't contrast well together. I'm about the same skintone as you and I use medium.

Yeah, I've noticed that, unfortunately, most people in their "Using Products I Hate" videos do that. Trying to make the makeup work that you know doesn't work would actually put emphasis on the flaws of the product for the viewers (and also be the entire point of even using the products on camera instead of listing it in a "Products I Don't Like" list. If you're not going to try, then what are the viewers getting out of the "demonstration"? Same or even LESS than a simple list video)

_Hala well ok yeah it does require a bit more blending in general compared to a watery ass concealer, but that concealer is also pretty thick in the first place. it's better to layer it than swipe on like 4 layers in one go and try blending that out. layering will make it look less cakey too

Maybe you don't like this products but ON TOP you are doing a crazy makeup, not blending and using a super light concealer. Of course it's going to look, feel or dislike. Great video tho!

use the tarte concealer in dotting motions. JUST THREE OR FOUR DOTS. the applicator is already big and the formula is thick so you dont need to swipe it around

typically, anyone that's using a liquid/cream highlighter or blush would use a beauty blender . and the eyeliner was probably meant for the waterline since it was in a retractable pencil form

For the tarte shape tape I use one dot under each eye only and it makes it easier to work with and covers everything at the same time whenever I want light coverage so try that, it might work for you!

I actually don't enjoy Maybelline's Fit Me concealer because it creases on me after having it on for a while. :( For eyeliner, I don't really like Rimmel's ScandalEyes Micro Eyeliner. It says that it's waterproof, but it doesn't last long on me. I was really sad about it, tbh. And for lippies, Coloupop's Ultra Satin Liquid Lipsticks. Don't get me wrong, I loveee Colourpop and their Ulta Matte Liquid Lipsticks, but their Ultra Satin ones transfer so bad it looks like I made out with my coffee mug after one sip 😩

I prefer powder highlight over cream. Applying it with a brush is just easier. I use a cream highlight as well, but using my fingers to apply, it doesn't get the highlight on very precisely in my opinion. Like Heart said, it's just a lot more work and time. A highlighting fan brush has its specific shape and outline for your cheeks and etc, so I use a brush instead. 👀

Leah Geiger - me too!!! It makes my under eyes so dry and cracked looking. I've tried so hard to make it work, I even tried using it as a primer for my lids but it makes them look dry and cracked too lol. Idk just didn't work for me.

I feel like I can't ever get enough powder on my brush to set my concealer, but by the end of the day, my skin has a really weird texture from it. I can't explain it. I just don't like it. I'm on the lookout for a new setting powder and that was my first candidate.

to me it sounds like you just don't wanna sit down and take time and do the makeup lol .. first time watching you ever but literally almost every product got the comment "It's just too much work" or something to that effect PLEASE DONT READ ME OBSESSED SUBBIES lol .. Just saying .. That color of concealer is entirely too light thats why it takes so long to blend .. Also, it seems like you just need application alternatives.

For the tarte shape tape I literally tap my doe foot applicator in the inner corner of my eye and it's enough and blends out way easier so maybe you could try that !

The rimmel bfb cream matte and it looks SO cakey compared to ANY foundation it has a ton of coverage, but it is so drying and has a powdery finish

I've never liked cream blush either, but I found the Maybelline Dreamy Bouncy Blush and it's all I use now! It's a cream to powder formulation, takes 15 seconds to blend, and gives you a perfect wash of color. I would give them a try!

Hey Heart, for the shape tape, you apply excessively! 😂 I swear, I just apply in mga 3 dots or less lang. 😊 The shade is totally off for your skin tone, as well. It has really good coverage. I prefer using my fingers than a sponge. Give it a try, again! 😜 And use eye cream beneath. Maybe your undereyes are very dry. It's my runner up and the NARS radiant creamy concealer wins. 👌🏼
