Exactly my thoughts on the cetaphil gentle cleanser. I don’t know how so many people love it. It doesn’t feel like a cleanser, it’s a moisturiser 😀

my heart cried for cetaphil....it is one of the best I things I have tried . In summers my skin gets really irritated due to heat but this one thing just makes me feel good in such skin condition I wish it would have worked for you too

@@diviiii573 ya Cetaphil should be used religiously for mayb a year or 2 regularly to see the explicit results..not only cetaphil all serums and skincare need to be followed religiously for quite a long time to see the desired results.i hv been using only cetaphil for 2yrs for my face..all my dark spots are completely gone now

Same. My dermatologist prescribed it to me a few years ago and it's my go to. I'm 28 with sensitive skin. But then again I don't use makeup. Just sunscreen. And I did find it difficult to adjust at the start since it doesn't foam up like others do. I really love it now though since it works for me.

Cetaphil works wonders for me and I am a dry skin type. Using it since past 10 months and bought a 1 litre bottle as well. It doesn’t make my face dry and does the job of cleansing.

Hi Shreya. The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser variant you used is meant for dry skin. I have been using it for more than 15 years and it has never disappointed me. Maybe you should try the other variant Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser. Products meant for dry skin used on oily skin will make you break out.

The cetaphil cleanser works for me. I have really dry skin and I use it in the morning so as to prevent my skin from feeling stripped off of its natural oil.

The Cetaphil cleanser really worked well for my sibling who has raging acne, it has helped in stopping new break outs without stripping his skin. I have dry dehydrated skin and use it as a morning cleanser, leaving it on while i brush my teeth and then washing it off. I’ve noticed it has reduced redness and inflammation. However it doesn’t work for removing makeup/ sunscreen so you gotta use different cleansers based on what you need from them! I’ve also tried mixing it in with a foaming cleanser and that works really well too!

Cetaphil cleanser is meant for very sensitive and irritated skin. Not for someone who wears makeup and does heavy skin care. I don't wash my face in the mornings or I use a very gentle cleanser like Cetaphil. It does a good job.

Cetaphil cleanser works really good for extremely sensitive skin and dry dehydrated skin. Foaming cleansers are more suitable for oil to combination skin types. Personally, I love that cleanser. I used it only in the morning which gives me a mild cleansing effect.

Cetaphil works if you have extremely dry skin. I use it as a morning cleanser. For makeup and skincare, you can use another cleanser.

Like Shreya said that skincare is really subjective. What might work for someone, may not work for you. I have normal skin type but after trying the dot & key vitamin c moisturiser, I had extremely dry & flaky skin on my nose. So I started using the Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser & it really worked for me. It easily removed some of my matte liquid lipsticks which usually are really hard to take off. I usually go in with this cleanser on my bare dry face first, then I add water & rinse it off using circular motions. So I feel this cleanser would work well for people with extremely dry skin type with damages skin barrier.

I don't know about others but I have oily acne prone sensitive skin so I use cetaphil cleanser as my morning cleanser and drug store cleanser (which contain small amount of glycolic acid, recommended by my Dermat) as my night cleanser..and this routine suits me very well 😊

Love your content but would like to differ on the cetaphil gentle cleanser. Yes it maybe not enough for heavy makeup or heavy skincare, but for my basic routine (moisturiser+sunscreen) it did a very well job of cleaning without striping the skin. I have combination skin and this has helped me when skin acts more dry or is breaking out.

I’ve been using cetaphil for the past 6 years and was first prescribed by my doctor..i had oily acne issues but for me this product was a game changer..its very affordable as well…but some of my frnds dont like it for the reason its not foaming and gives brightng glow once face is washed but i dont mind it as far as my skin is healthy glowy in a long run…my acne stopped oilness chnged i have that natural glow and maybe because i dont use heavy makeup i dont know about others but for me this is a gem

Cetaphil gentle cleanser didn’t work for me as well. I felt it wasn’t cleaning well.. instead try cetaphil oily skin cleanser (it is very gentle and slightly foams) and although it says oily skin cleanser it works for dry skin as well and leaves skin super clean! Must try

Hi Shreya, i apologize in advance if what I am going to say sounds rude or mean in anyway. I am not good with words but please take it as a feedback rather than hate. I have been a consistent followers of yours for past 4 years. Just wanted to say if the video doesn't revolve around a makeup tutorial please try to go with simple lighting, minimal background and light makeup. Watching the same RGB colour again and again and full on glam kinda feels monotonous and sometimes too much glam also act as a distraction. If that is your vibe it's okay but if you are experimenting and open for some changes please consider this. Truly love your audacity and quality of content. ❤️

I totally agree. I tried to make the cetaphil cleanser work for me but it didn’t. I have dry skin and still it didn’t suit me even after being so moisturising. The face never felt clean and as you said I always felt it’s not washing off.

I thought I was the only one who did not like cetaphil cleanser. I was telling myself that gentle cleansers are supposed to feel this way and cleansers are supposed to not foam up and will feel like moisturizer. Honestly, the best 2 cleansers that I ever owned are TFS rice water bright and L'oreal facial foam and all this while I was thinking they were harsh for my skin that's why I didn't like them. Since I breakout quite often, I've also tried Dr. Sheths Neem and Salicylic Acid Face wash - it stings my eye and I don't like it as well but everyone seems to rave about it. Anyone else with similar experience ?

I have been using the Seba Med cleanser for a while. Recently switched to Cetaphil and now I understand the hype about it. It really changed the skin game for me. I use the oily skin version as per my skin type. Alsooo, the Indie Wild serum has also worked wonders for me surprisingly.

It has a purpose. It's clearly written gentle cleanser. It's mild and hence helps. Cetaphil is the best cleanser. Used to not like it for the consistency but it is the holy grail for the skin.

I think the oil must be castor oil mainly, it has to be mixed with some thin carrier oil..Same experience with Cetaphil cleanser.

I am a civil engineer, works in dust, dirt and cement all through my day, faced horrific horrific allergy and had severe acne and acne marks on my face and cetaphil cleanser worked wonders for me. Today my skin is spotless and not even a single pimple since 6 months(off of my dermat medication). it's a GENTLE CLEANSER for VERY DRY TO SENSITIVE SKIN, they have a foaming cleanser asw go try that. the gentle cleanser is great for me with hella sensitive and dry skin, it never leaves a "moisturiser" cast on my skin

Finally someone told the truth about Cetaphil cleanser. You probably broke out because they added xanthan gum in a cleanser meant for sensitive skin. I used the product with the older formulation since 2015 and it worked wonders. They deteriorated the entire formulation. I faced skin sensitivity and redness in my 1st and 2nd use. I hope they bring they bring their old formulation back.

I have eczema (extreme dry and flaky skin) and i only and only use cetaphil and simple cleanser because others are very stripping i love both of them. I understand that the cetaphil cleanser didn’t work out for you but anybody here who has acne please try it out, chances are you will love it.

I have loved cetaphil even before I got eczema. Currently I am using a "cleanser" prescribed by my dermat that literally says "cleansing lotion". It has been a life saver. But i do use it only in the morning as I need a stronger cleanser in the night

Cetaphil also broke me out :( I bought a small pack after seeing so many positive reviews but after washing my face with cetaphil's oily skin cleanser, my skin would sting so bad and in a few days, I would get a patch of small bumpy pimples. Is it because cetaphil is mainly targeted to sensitive skin so certain ingredients don't work on oily/combination skin?

Cetaphil cleanser is holygrail for sensitive skin It certainly didnot clog my pores when my pores were already clogged Also, I think it was not used properly for which it broke you out and clogged your pores. For me it works wonders with single and double cleanse.

I always double cleanse with make remover or cleanser balm. even though I hardly use makeup but do use sunscreen regularly and then use my cetaphil cleanser with growing kids in home I am so relieved that I can introduce my daughter to cleaning her face with something so gentle. There will be hardly any bacterial growth in oil , as oil can be used as preservative. Using it before expiry would be good.

I have oily skin in general... But during winter it becomes super dry and skin around my mouth and eyes become super flaky and Pigmented(due to dryness).... And believe me i have tried many but no products just nothing works for this...cetaphil cleanser is the only one that worked on that from the first use... Removed these dryness and pigmentation within 5/6 days...also it is good for my sensitive skin... But i also feel that sometimes, in these heat waves, it doesn't work properly as cleanser... But i am never gonna leave the product.. I wish it would work for u also

Cetaphil products are a blessing to sensitive skin. Also they are non comedogenic so doesn't clog pores. It really helps in acne prone skin. I'm a huge fan.

Even I had extremely bad experience with Inde Wild AM Serum, when I had just purchased it, in the first few applications it disappointed me to the core as my face turned into an orange… I stored it in refrigerator (like it’s mentioned) still it got oxidised earlier than it should

About cetaphil cleanser,it is generally prescribed by most of dermatologist, I have used it before and I am currently using it again,but I can see the difference, they have changed packaging and texture of this cleanser, previously it used to work but now it doesn't also it smells like coconut oil somewhere which can be reason it is breaking out most of people's skin, and all of these changes have happened after new packaging!!!!

So the cetaphil cleanser has to be used the way you use a balm- you dont mix with water nor put water on your face. You apply it straight to your face, break down whatever make up skin care is there and once youve massaged it in, rinse off. Otherwise it wont work, hope it helps

For cetaphil, I spray water on my face, and then apply the cetaphil on skin, gently massage, and then wash my face with facewash, without removing cleanser with cotton pad, working well for me

i have oily acne prone skin and there was a time when i had a face full of cystic acne and i was using topical treatments like tretinoin and also salicylic acid gel recommended by my dermatologist my skin used to feel extremely itchy and dry also it caused a lot of redness that is when i started using cetaphil gentle cleanser and it worked really well for me, touch wood my acne has calmed down and i also use sunscreen every single day but this cleanser is still my go to i use it every single day and does not clog pores in fact it helped me a lot with my acne.

I don't agree with the nat habit lip balm. Its not as thick as other lip balms in the market but its the most natural one I have come across so far. It smells like ghee and honey and I don't mind the little part of beetroot in it and also that enhances the smell. I don't understand why it smelt like plastic to you. The Cetaphil cleanser will not work in summer, only in winter and will mostly work for those who have dry and sensitive skin and dont use heavy make up or no make up at all.
