I've been to a ton of Olive Young stores but that specific one is just humongous. I recommend tourists go to that one if they get the chance to go nearby. It is so nice to see what my fellow Korean people loved this year. Thanks unni for showing us around the beautiful store and of course the beautiful skincare products.
i feel like korean skincare is more focused on hydration and soothing inflammation etc but I don't see any actives like retinol, vitamin c, glycolic acid, bhas etc which are very important for problematic skin
they do have actives in their skincare. they were one of the firsts to create that trend however in the video they are focusing on the best of 2020 (most bought) and they do tend to focus on hydration and soothing in their basic skincare rather than actives that dont get used up as quickly or cant be applied every day.
@@clementinetiff yeah I wasn't talking about this specific video, I was talking about korean skincare in general... for example I haven't found any korean product that has 2% salicylic acid (which is very important for my acne) and if I find anything with sal acid it's going to be at a maximum of 0,5%.. or like glycolic acid in high percentages and things like that which are key for some people. I can never find strong actives in korean skincare (except for some vit. c serums)
@@lianagrigoriadi8177 Same, the main actives brand in Korea is Mizon. I mix my own, I use Puppyskin 2% salicylic acid, and i apply Mizon AHA 8% serum after.

I love the Isntree Mugwort serum!! I find the hyaluronic acid one heavier than the mugwort one. The mugwort one is watery and I don't find it oily at all, its really refreshing.

Then, what substances can be used to exfoliate the skin? Should it be AHA / BHA / PHA? Or are there other substances that are more multifunctional, such as exfoliating and soothing the skin? I always love watching both of you shop and test out the products! I only recently started following your channel but I think I've already made three purchases on Olive Young's site lol! A lot of my friends and I are trying to transition to using less plastic and buying cruelty-free brands but when I tried to look up Korean products that meet both of these criteria it was a very very short list. Would you be able to cover this topic in one of your future videos (if you haven't already)? :D
I just love when you two get together! I wish you did a best makeup 2020 together too... So many products I want to get now. I’m surprised you can still test out products, here in the US because of Covid, they don’t let you test out any skin care or makeup products anymore

In Korea what product would be recommended for reducing the appearance of a VERY long surgical scar. It has not overgrown, but I want to make sure it stays soft and becomes an unnoticeable as possible.
I'm surprised that there are still testers are out there for you to try in Korea. In Singapore all cosmetic testers are removed. At Sephora, should you need to try something, you have to approach the SA. Please refrain from trying out the testers during COVID.

Euni please try the nature republic vitapair C serum! Its a new product and its frequently compared to the goodal one. The bellamonster blemish serum and somebymi yuja serum also has the same functions. Curious to know which has the best brightening effect if you have tried all of this euni 😣😣

Hi Eunni! 1) Thank you for these videos! 2) special request/question. I have combo dry skin that gets worse with winter. Do you have a video on comparing different moisturizers in olive young and talking about their different weights and different finishes-some just sit on the top of my skin like a balm, others feel very watery and light makes my skin worse? Like I can’t tell the difference between physiogel and the moisturizer next to it. There’s a lot of Cica products out there...can you please shed some light on them? Which ones really live up to the hype? Another topic I was looking for was hand creams, foot creams, body scrubs and lip balms. Sorry for the many requests! I love you too #eunisoo
@@Awawawmamsh I wouldn't say it almost doesn't exist in Korea. Cases are rising. There's been about 700~1200 new cases each day there the past of couple weeks.
Well, Physiogel products sold in Asia are mostly made in Thailand, because here we've got the capacity to produce them at lower cost. Does that surprise you?
Anyone know this brand called eyenlip ? There isn’t much review about it and it’s the only Korean skincare sold in my country. Anyways thanks for the video
