😮...see how a whole professor got confused. He can not understand simple English...bring out the approved budget now. I love that man in black agbada, he knows his job.
@True. I write a lot about Nigerian matters etc. and realize that a lot of people respond who can barely spell, cannot write a paragraph without causing a ministroke to whoever is reading it. And I am talking about this coming from well educated to bare high school graduates. If professors are half baked themselves, what exactly will they impart to the students? Despicable situation.
In d NDDC states, people are suffering. No syringes in the hospitals. No drugs to make people live. Nothing. Schools have no chalk or chalk boards. Teachers are not paid. And the staff and Acting Md of NDDC is being paid 1.32billion to squander with the family and people are dying. God will judge all these people.
The truth is that the NDDC chairman did not come prepared. These questions are not well presented to convey any meaningful point and are quite easy to answer in your Favour, there was no need for this drama
As far as I'm concerned this Ag Managing Director of NDDC is pretending, he has no defence for all he has embezzled karma will surely catch with all of you who has put Nigeria into all these mess because of your selfishness...
It's a shame! First the chairman of the committee is a mess and has displayed gross incompetence.... Secondly..., Corruption in NDDC is so much that if the forensic is properly carried out, heads will row, including members of the national assembly. A big disappointment indeed!
These politicians should please stop calling themselves Honourable, Distinguished, Excellency. There is nothing of such in any of them. Also Nigeria should stop the useless and despicable culture of hanging politicians useless pictures /portraits on the walls of offices 😔
Honorable, Distinguished, His Excellency. Relics of a parliamentary system in the 50s, 60s Nigeria and what exactly do we have to show for it? Nothing but poverty, misery and human degradation from insufferable narcissists that they are.
I think there should lay down process through which committee carries out their investigations instead of side talks, obstruction and incoherent process
These people are a total mess. Even the members of the house do not know how to carry out their jobs. See them going back and forth on procedures. Smh.
Honestly, this is distraction galore. Why are people distracting the Chairman. Nobody has copies before the hearing? Even if the man fainted, you mean to tell me there is no Air condition in the National Assembly?
Imagine this politicians, how could they not have planned and adopt a standard procedure for this investigation. The acting chairman is not composed hence, not in charge. All the members have divergent ideas on how the procedure should be. It is unfortunate and i don't believe anything good will come out of it.
Sad. It reflects how most Nigerians can hardly stick to agreed plan. I believe that there is a procedure in place, which the well spoken individual among them to the left of the acting chairman emphasized.
Even prefects in secondary school will do better than these agbayas. The so called committee chairman could not speak proper English. Shameless people!
Those saying that their names include "honorable" are just joking I would say. Nobody was born and named "honorable." Watch those particular people in the house and you will see them for who they are-probably pompous, self-entitled, proud and generally lawless and "above" the law. You will have a hard time if you don't include that title when addressing them.
Even Nigerian universities few bad professors or lecturers are collecting bribes from students. I served at Edo State University in the mid-90s and witnessed such. Imagine that was over 20 years ago.
Drama! He had to faint when he was cornered. What they should have done was to put him under oath, let him give his statement, and submit his documents then the lawmakers can look it over and ask questions today and finish the questioning the next day. That will give them time to hear from all of those present. Today should mostly be for those who were invited, then tomorrow for the lawmakers. Anyway, I am glad that this is going on. Too many people in Nigeria has suffered and died because of incessant corruption. Corruption must be a thing of the past if Nigeria will rise to its full potential. This is a good start...
ADOS Diaspora have eyes on African Governments, the child will not return to an unstable home. No responsible people will invest in corruption, and no corrupt politician will welcome accountabillity from outsiders. The patients are running the asylum, Power corrupts and unaccountable power corrupts absolutely.
Please who directed this film and name of the actors? Both committee's asking questions and the Professor answering them are crooks. Thief, Ole, Barawo
Good question. NDDC MD from Niger Delta, Minister from same Niger Delta just for the region to get developed but look at what these people are doing to their own region. Its very unfortunate. If it were someone from a different region heading the ministry and the Commission you would have heard so many issues and accusations coming out. The masses should be wise please
Mopelola, Atilola ti nlora rela(hahaha that is a tongue twister, isn't it?) is better than that chair warmer aka chairman 😁😂😀😁. We don finish them with laughs o.
That committee led by that Chairman graphically shows why Nigeria is a zoo and cannot make progress. Where what makes you eligible for office is either where you come from or the size of your stomach. You could see how the incompetence of the Chairman impeded the work of the committee. Can you then imagine what the incompetence of the Hausa- Fulani leadership has done to Nigeria in the last 50 years?
The thing is Akpabio came to snitch, holding nothing back, I am glad he at least said what he said, so that we know that this whole comittee is full of shit😂😂😂😂
This is why Nigeria will not know progress and allow many intellectuals to leave the country because too much money but share by few people. How can a nation that is so blessed go for borrowing while they have abundance that is being stolen by few politicians and our people keep supporting them when they are mobilised with a little amount like #5,000.00. This money stolen can provide job of #100,000.00 monthly for more than 2 million indigenes of Niger Delta . No wonder we have armed robbers and kidnappers everywhere.
This is the part of the reason why the rate of poverty in Nigeria is on a higher side, shame on Buhari for electing arm robber as ministers what a dead leadership in Nigeria, shame on all of you criminals.
I agree that Buhari lacks good leadership skills but you can't blame Buhari for this one. Blame the Nigerian Mentality of greed, and "smartness". Even this so called committee is compromised.
@@olalekeola1460 You can't exonerate PMB from all these shame because he knew all the proven allegations against Akpabio which are quite obvious in public domain, yet he bribed him with a ministerial position, in such a sensitive ministry, in exchange for cross carpeting from the opposition.
This hearing is totally disorganized, they should have given the MD 15-30 minutes to make his presentation without any form of interruption, regardless of what the MD wish to talk about, even if he wish to talk about aligns from mars, it's his time, let him use it as he wish. Then, two senior committee members addition to the chairman would have 5 minutes to give a speech about the hearing, followed by questions by the committee members. They should learn from developed nations and have a procedure of the agenda of the day.
I think they should have given him a bottle of water 💦 to rehydrate him. I could tell he is dehydrated and that could have contributed to his fainting attack couple with the stress of questioning. The brain cannot work well if one is dehydrated. I'm so sorry for him though. It's a great lesson to all of us, accountability and taking responsibility is very important in whatever we do.
46:40 "Do not spoil things for me ooo.." 👀 1:15:17 "It has expired.." The beginning of the end aka fainting.. 💀 1:16:48 ACTING Managing Director, "is it DRAMA..?" 🎬 1:18:10 "It is strategy, allow him to go.." 🤔 Chai, watching this fiasco from afar.. 🇬🇧 - @Acharich
Thanks. You got sharp ears. I had to go back and listen to that closely. I heard "no spoil things o". When things don scatter already. Akpabio is probably still thinking all these is a joke. Obviously the MD is working for Akpabio and not the Niger-Delta people.
Spent, Spent, Spent. On what and what? Why was he not mentioning the projects the money was spent on and the beneficiary testimonials? Bunch of looters
These committee members are very irritating. The committee chairman is simply useless. I hope these kind of outings by our representatives will spur Nigerians to ensure more competent people are elected henceforth. Akpabio and his team of fraudsters may get off the hook if care is not taken.
This is what happen to a nation where patriots are keeping mute. While we will be in a hurry to blame Pondei, we must not forget to realize that magnets attracts magnets. In the background only God knows how much the man has parted with before being considered as Acting MD. So he feels he must make profit from his investment. I enjoin well meaning Nigerians, who has the love of Nigeria, Nigerians and the coming generation at heart to please dare all circumstances by participating in politics in order to deliver our nation from shackle of poverty, corruption and misgovernment. Nigeria will surely rise again.
Big lies. Take off grants for some NDDC scholars have still not been paid! Those of 2016 scholars were paid long before the present IMC. I expect elders to tell the truth!
@@ejeefe4816 these monies are in the north / south west....niger-delta only has name.....e.g. over-bloated road projects to julius berger (who owns it?).....
@@samuelsonwillies2715 I feel so sorry for Niger Delta.....so citizen of Niger Delta is supposed to work or labour if we go by the amount of money in the region......its just a modern day Dubai in reverse
@@ejeefe4816 am from Akwa Ibom....the solution lies with the Rawlings method....Abuja ensures they appoint non-caring indigenes who will send the monies back to the north and south west.....
APC Dramatic Government! I appreciate Hon. Olubunmi for rescuring himself from this panel. Can the Minister of NDDC also be honourable enough to resign or step down to be investigated as he was the culprit accused in this case?
And the award for the most disorganised hearing in the history of mankind goes to this committee. No processes, no procedures , side talking, interruption, commotion. Oh, the senate president is here.. So what, what is he doing there? is he invited? The chairman is clueless, I bet he can’t even run his house talk less of a committee. THIS COUNTRY HAS GONE TO THE DOGS!! If you don’t know how to run a committee, watch the US and UK do one. The person that swear for Nigeria do us some SERIOUS damage. All these old men are a complete waste of space. Nigeria for Sale at $1 will struggle to find a buyer.
The MD had manifested a high sense of arrogance the last time he appeared before the house. Surely, the guys if they are intelligent will surely mess him up. That's exactly what happened, this guys in the committee are mostly professionals and they know the thing. Mrs Joi Numieh or so, would have handled this better than this man. She was very clear in her defence against Akpabio's accusations. On the other hand, this professor does not have the tough character and personality of Mrs Joi. He is quite soft and so couldn't stand the arrogance of the committee members
When you are a real "Acting" MD. Better than many celebrities... the way he re-fainted when he heard there was a possibility of letting him go was so hilarious and epic.🤣🤣🤣
House of representatives and the Senate, should use this opportunity to investigate past ministers and presents, because, unemployment in the country is too high because of corrupt politicians
I hope this Hon. House/Committee will not come tomorrow and tell us that billions has been spent for this jamb questions with lots of unanswered items and this the drama therein
The Niger Delta region has been underdeveloped, but our own people put in position to oversee this commission are acting as if they are not part of Niger Delta. What a shame.
