Those are such amazing sketches🤩, And I do also really need to start sketching again…😅 Btw, I wish I was also sketching whenever I’m on a flight, your experience is incredible, a shame that I didn’t thought of that before lol 🤜🫠

Oh my! I love each and every one of your art! I always wanted to be a wildlife artist and I was discouraged to draw animals by my family saying "you won't go anywhere with those animals" since then you have been my inspiration for drawing animals. You inspired me to get acrylics and now today I will follow you guide to try oil painting for the first time! I am a 12 year old and you are my inspiration and idol for art!

Am 65yrs old...was a brilliant artist at school...l was the first year that you had to stay on at school till you were sixteen...amd with that...CSE 's exams began...along with the mainstream exams..ie maths and English...I gladly took art...the teaching was very poor ...my parents disliked me doing art..." you'll never get anywhere drawing horses...this was also backed up with my art teacher...l passed the art exam with distinction and also won an award...which I never picked up...as I left school on a Thursday and started work on the following Monday...in a factory ...I never touched a pencil again...until five years ago...I joined the village art group...amd won the people's choice in the art exhibition the last four years...we all have to earn a living...but do follow your heart too...Good luck and best wishes...keep going😊

I looove seeing your sketchbook! I don't know if you watch him already or not but you might get inspired by Aaron Blaise either on instagram or youtube. He has some sketchbook tour videos that might spark a will to use the sketchbook more, I especially love when he has been sketching at the zoo or on site in Africa. He does really amazing wildlife and people artworks and with 2D animation as his background his art always look quite dynamic and I get so inspired by watching him draw. It is almost hard to find artists that really lean into drawing animals so I was really happy to find both him and you. You inspire me so much as well. I started my art journey in 2016 so I haven't even reached my 10 year point yet :) I hope I can one day recreate animals even half as good as you can. :)

If you've transformed your hobby into your career, then you need a new hobby no? So painting and drawing for the sake of painting and drawing, without the aim to sell, can still be your hobby.

Thanks for sharing your sketchbook with us. Am I correct that you did use reference photo’s for most of these? I can’t really do much from just my imagination 😅
