Watch professional cricketers from Kent Country Cricket Club react to playing VR cricket on the Meta Quest 2. Jack Leaning, Harry Finch, Fred Klaassen, Matt Quinn, Grant Stewart and Tawanda Muyeye all have a go at scoring runs in virtual reality. There's even an appearance from England international Sam Billings.

What a cool video! I feel like this really clearly demonstartes VR's potential real world value with being able to train for sports or anything really with increased efficiency. You should have a look at the bigscreen byeyond headset for increased mobility

Out of all the sports VR games I've played, cricket seems to have the most potential. I mean imagine being able to prepare against all the top international bowlers you are about to face on the weekend.

Great video! I Always wondered how current cricketers would find it - I haven’t played for nearly 20 years so no frame of reference. Good to see County players struggling with the pace (I assume you had it on UltraInsane) - makes me feel better!

VR Cricket Guy needs a Quest3 with BOBOVR S3 Pro headstrap.. and a Touch Pro Controller for precision tracking 👌

@@akshay314 The Touch Pro Controllers are way better than either the Quest 2 or 3 controllers for tracking. I bought a single Touch Pro controller on eBay just for playing vr cricket and golf. It tracks perfectly 👌

As a product designer I think they can make the VR glasses and the headphones integrated into a product shaped like a helmet . Would give better feel and will look authentic as well to see from outside.

Yeah, that would be great. This headset is not specifically designed for cricket. It's a VR set with hundreds of different games.

Switching things up would make for quite a sight! Imagine you taking on fast bowlers head-on and smashing them out of the park, just like in the game! Wow, that would be an epic advertisement for IB cricket. Oh, and by the way, this is awesome!

Mate, i always thought how realistic ib cricket compare to professional matches, even they struggled, next time please ask them to rate the realisticness 1-10
