In an interview BTS had mentioned that when they were debuting, their CEO, Bang Shi Hyuk, actually watched their dance practice videos and uses the space bar to pause every second to see their every movement, even the angles of their heads and where their eyes are... And it makes so much sense. BTS were hella sync, tight, and intense when they did choreography at the beginning.
God anytime i watch dna's choreo, i'm always fascinated with j-hope. It just fits him so well: a fun beat, heavy footwork, level changes....he's just so smiley and enjoys the song and i just can't take my eyes off of him
Jimin was trained in Contemporary as well so he naturally has his posture and perfect dance lines in place that's why you noticed his posture (chest open) at start.
I love the fact that he reacted so well like he knows what he is saying. Most of the people reaction is like non critical that try not to criticize but he is actually teaching what is needed and also appreciating their skills
3 members, Jin (acting, theatre major) . RM Suga (underground) have never danced prior to bighit picking them up as trainers. Bighit (Bang Hisyuk , CEO) had a hiphop group originally in mind, before deciding to debut as an idol group instead
Jimin was the last to join the group , he had almost a year before has debut the BTS group Jimin studied ballet graduated from the Academy of Arts, dances popping, is the King of dance in Korea, his dance is is insanely Beautiful.
Can you react to sean lew and kaycee rice dance compilation 2018? Idk if you know them but they are one of the best dancers in the world They’re so good and their chemistry is insane
Hi..greetings from Indonesia. Thanks for the reaction..it is fun to watch your reaction. Btw, Can you tell which member that actually was being recruited without dancing nor singing talent, but he finally nailed it through super hard work, simply by doubled his own training hours every day and night more than rest of the member, coz he doesnt want to let other member feeling down for any possible mistakes that he could bring..what an attitude!
I would like to point out, that they don't do a perfect pyramid blocking, because Suga and Jimin are noticably shorter than the rest. so they have to stand on a spot where they will look as if they are the same height with the others through the camera. Specially beside RM and Jin. I've noticed it a lot when they perform live and the camera shoots from above. you'll understand what I mean if you watch their dances with missing member. Like RM and Suga missing due to surgery or Jimin and JK missing due to an injury. I maybe wrong, but I did cheer dancing back in college so I have a little idea about blockings 😆
That's really interesting and not something that I noticed. I love reading the comments from these videos there is always a lot of interesting info and analysises.
I'm sure you already know but Jimin studied contemporary, so that's why you would always notice his extended and very clear lines. That's also the reason he prefers wearing fitted clothes, so his silhouette would be more defined. And since he was also a popper (generally studied many genres), his moves are also always sharp and powerful in addition. His dance is just *beautiful* 🤌 You were also correct about "freestyle" part. There are certain parts in most of their choreo where they can choose to move as they wish, a certain freestyled anything. But in general Jimin always adds some sprinkles of his own style in any choreography. J-Hope does that too sometimes. And yes, Hobi ALWAYS smiles and always has great energy for any performance :) Although, our main dancers (Jimin and J-Hope) were amazing as always, Jungkookie is the one who I find absolutely slaying this choreo.
The choreo from the part where they are in line at the end (the la la las) the dancer in the centre with the visor, j-hope (main dancer and dance captain), learnt all that choreo in 10-30 minutes (it varies depending on which member is telling the story), the others had taken 4 hours to learn it and when j-hope learnt it later (he wasn't available for the initial session where the others learnt it) they couldn't believe how quickly he learnt it.
I said it on the patreon, it's partly camera angle and Jin's movement. Jin was in the hole mirroring V and the others stood up and made a slight turn which made it look strange.
Jimin’s moves are always big and extended. I would attribute that to his contemporary dance background. Taehyung’s style and execution on the other hand are more controlled and sharp. JHope’s is very hip hop, precise but loose. There’s so much fluidity in his movements which I like as well. These four are part of the dance line and they each have their own unique style.
I think you forgot JK 😝 But in terms of jimin’s dancing - do you mean his moves are extended? I’m a dancer and his dancing seems the least exaggerated. Jhope’s dancing is a lot more wide and exaggerated, however. Jimin’s focus is more on micromovements - which is difficult to notice if you aren’t a dancer. He’s probably the sharpest dancer because of this
@@salmahersi4232 I would say jhope and jk are more sharp. Jhope is precise and technical. Jk is powerful and clean. Jimin is fluid. Jimin usually exaggerates (you're right, jhope does full extentions) moves mostly his upper body so I see why he said he always gets in trouble for being half a beat off as jhope has said many times. Just all different styles of dancing
The off-center part they do on purpose in most/all because their choreos really tell a story. The focus is not always on the center, but the focus is always on the member that is singing/telling that part of the story Edit: Because they sing live, they do try to make that singer the most stable
I really love your attention to detail and your expert eye!! You put a lot of effort in your analysis, and I just wanted to say that the viewers notice and appreciate you for that :) you deserve so many more views! love from ARMY
The part where they are linking hands with the wave movement. I heard it was suppose to be a replica of the Double Helix, which would be DNA... hehehe.... Love your analysis and reactions! Thank you!💜💜🤗🤗🥰🥰
Thanks for doing this one!! Really one of my all time fav routines. Smiling guy/red hair guy is j-hope, Dance Leader of the group and one of the two Main Dancers with Jimin. 🤗💜 Hope you're doing ok!!!
Can we just appreciate how hard everyone is going like they don't care where they are performing, you can clearly see the passion, determination, charisma and executions in their dance moves, the way they do their dance moves let everybody stand up and move their legs a little bit that's how you demand a dance.
Fantastic analysis. I know a lot about music and very little about dance technique, other than to a laymen's eyes these guys have always looks incredible. But it was very cool hearing you break down different elements and noting how strong they come of dancing against that stark white background. Stanley Kubrick would have been pleased.
@@EmeroyB you know I'm going to be here to watch it, no matter when it goes live 😁... just found it a bit curious since other premiers are usually in a couple of days 🤷
@@EmeroyB and as promised, here I am again 😉 thanks for the detailed insights from the rehearsal analysis! I used to perform in a team for competitions so some things you mentioned felt very relatable (but we were only amateurs)
HoSeok the jean vest guy only took him 10 minutes to learn the choreography. Our choreographer Jung HoSeok, J-Hope specialist in popping, tutting, street dance, etc. Thank you for noticing his presence in various videos of them, even if you don't know who he is, good acute sense to see his movements. Thanks.
Look at the comments I just hate this fandom for not praising jungkook dancing skills enough 😢 Imran jungkook is so sharp & energetic in each performance of bts along with jm and hope but his dancing skills are still under appreciated
You will be suprised tons of times if you start to listen BTS :-) Try their songs: House of Cards, Mic Drop, Spring Day, Black Swan, Fake love, Mikrokosmos, Lie, Daechwita, DNA, IDol, Seul, Do You, Truth Untold, 4 oclock, Stigma, Singularity, Make it Right, Epiphany, EGO, etc etc etc ! I PROMISE IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND :-)))) Greetings from Tricity in Poland (Europe)
So glad you reacted to DNA. I think people sleep on this song because they think the choreo isn't much to look at. It really is amazing because they go so amazingly fast.
You would be actually shocked if you see V fancams ! cuz that guy is known as idol of idols and ofc the king of stage presence cuz almost all the kpop idols watch his fancam to learn facial expressions while dancing. And he has the most viewed and liked fancam in kpop.
Wow I don’t know how I found that, I don’t need that, but I LOOOOVED that! Thank you!!! So professional and enthusiastic 🤩🤩 I’m definitely going to subscribe (after only one video! Crazy!) and search more of your previous ones 😆
"Why so farrrr????" 1. Because there are already videos scheduled. I post K-Pop reaction videos on Monday and Wednesday only. This gives me an opportunity to share the other content i'm passionate about for this channel. 2. Releasing content like this allows me to keep the channel consistent and focus on other projects other than trying to keep a daily youtube schedule since I run two businesses. It's all a part of my quarterly releases. Which you can see here: airtable.com/shrkUSn8a34srUFLh. (Patrons get access to the master lists, and early releases) 3. Traditional studios and movies promote their content months in advance prior to the premiere to help build anticipation. The public already knows the date of when these movies are coming out. I know I'm no big-time studio, but why can't I take a similar approach to my content? Want early access to content? Become a patron! patreon.com/emeroyb
You act like bang pd when he was checking the boys choreography and synchronization.. from head to toe to even their eye contact needs to be precise and in sync. Thats what he did to them. Pause and go😁🤣
In one part of the coreography you commented that once you learn the movements it was not so hard ( though it was fast) ... however... you only mentioned the movements of the lower part of the body! :3 I kinda was waiting you to cover that too... cause I believe that adds quite an amount of difficulty... Plus they sing AND dance :3 But I do like the way you are analysing the practice dance!
Jeon jungkook the bestest dancer bcz he executes the group choreos perfectly and he is so sharp,on point and his moves are so smooth and effortless 👏👏 he makes everything looks so easy 😍
I think the part you mentioned at 15:20 was supposed to be centered on Jimin but Jin moves out and it makes it seem like the center was between Jimin and V
yess I love the white background too!! I ,sometimes, even like their practices more than their shows cuz black stage, all the lights and stuff sometimes shadow their stunning choreography and sync
25:45 Red, black, and white! BTS often uses all white or all black outfits. (When they aren't using rainbow pastels, neon brights, colors coordinated with evergreen, denim blues, or earth tones, lol! They've done so many mvs and performances, it's impossible to generalize.) I also spy Jungkook wearing blue here, which reminds me of the flag of South Korea: red and cobalt blue yin/yang surrounded by 4 black line symbols, in the middle of a white background.
Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. I really enjoy your reactions. Your explanations help me to appreciate the videos more deeply rather than just surface viewing. 💜
"let's go red, black and white. That's my colours right there" ok so I do know how many countries have only these three colors but trinidad has this and I'm guessing rn
they're pretty clean. idk if you're a dancer or not, but things look different within eyes of experience. i've been dancing for a long time so i see small details. when i worked in animation i saw small mistakes in Pixar films. even when i watch film now, I notice small things in regards to shot composition, lighting, etc. that a regular person wouldn't see.
Wow. When I thought it's today's 12AM (Currently 11:30 PM). I was waiting for it to pop up some time soon and just waiting. LOL. I was about to wait for a month. Anyway, I'll stay tuned and see you then. HAHAHAHA
