Fun fact: His finish strokes are from one side to other, starting same side. This assures a more even wear. Picture vacuum marks on a new carpet, thats what the wear would look like if he went back and forth finishing from opposite sides.
@@SEALCOATINGISLIFE Thanks mate, I'm in the UK so I'm guessing seasonality might go against me more but I think this could be very scalable. Thanks for the videos
Hi handsome! I have three questions: 1) does the sealer come in different colors/shades? Sometimes it looks brown. Sometimes it looks black. 2) why do you wear the stockings/leggings under your shorts? There must be a reason other than fashion couture 😅. 3) have you all ever stepped off the driveway onto the street and forgotten to take your boots off?? If so, how do you clean it off the street? Love y’all, love your videos!! - Debbie
We have always used water based. CT and AE are both asphalt based. It all depends on my allergies. Some days pollen is at dangerous levels here (for me anyway).
awesome video as always! Im curious as to how many gallons of sealer did you use? I'm trying to get a good feel for how much sealer I would need to purchase when it comes to sealing driveways in similar conditions to this one. Thanks!
Hey Guys, great job you did 👍 i enjoyed this video, thanks for showing 👍💪👏 are your boots resited against the coating ore do you have to get every time new ones ??
They are just plain rubber boots (there's an Amazon link in the video-description). They do not repel the sealer. I usually go through 3 pairs per years due to wearing out the treads.
I'm Also in the Business but I never seen anybody's seal like me before. if u don't mind me asking if u don't use sealmaster who do you use. I just really like your mix.
I agree, awsome musical selection on this video. They have some really good music tracks on their videos. They usually list the music information in the video description section. I'm going there now to find out. ✌️
When you guys have material free flowing out of the wand, when pulling something by hand, what do you have your psi at? And do you keep your waste basket in? Or take it out?
Is this only on Asphalt you use and on your other video you say you can get it at the hardware store what is it called at Home Depot I am from south And would love to get into this
What is your typical yield while brushing? I've been working for a paving outfit for a little over a year and am looking to start sealing driveways on the side.
Its a great business to do full-time or on the side. Everything you need to know is in our course. Its on sale now too. asphaltkingdom.teachable.com/p/driveway-sealcoating-kick-start-course
How many gallons did this driveway use since it's never been sealed before? And what was the cost per square foot you charge the homeowner and how big was the driveway
I've never used a squeegee. I feel that it would be difficult to do some of the edging with a squeegee. A nice ,stiff brush is good for getting the harder angles.
