Honestly Speaking this is the case with Most schools Getting a Spot is insane. There was a time when schools had to maintain a Plane to Student Ration which doesn't happen anymore. Honest Reviews! Cheers!
Yeah, I totally agree. I get a strange feeling that the logic behind schools bringing on way more students than they can handle is that the more students they have, the more they can guarantee that they will fill all their bookings slots and the more money they will make. It's really unfortunate for the students, particularly full-time ones, who get into the school expecting to be able to get their training done only to have their training period stretched out super long which ultimately makes it harder to learn in my opinion since you forget everything you learned in between lessons.
I got PPL and Multi in PFC. Great school. I left my cellphone number and email 3 weeks ago at PRO asking to get in touch with me because I am interested in flying C 22 and D 62.Still waiting…
ahahaha, I actually got called by Pro I think 1 week or so ago after I put my name on their waiting list in... early April? It was at least 2 months before they called me, but now I'm already at another school. I'm planning on possibly going there later on for multi-ifr training or something but we'll see what happens! I like PFC, I heard some really great reviews about them and I was really impressed!
@@LateDeparture Sure! It's just that they offer an all inclusive ATPL course for a whopping €69,300, with no hidden charges (it even has landing and parking, fuel surcharges even), with accomodation. Just sounds a little too good to be true.
I heard of some people going to Harv's Air and I'm really curious because I'm currently doing the online ground school from Harv's. Let me see what I can do!
I may do one later on, but I will actually be choosing my flight school soon and Victoria is a bit far for me to commute since I live in Vancouver. I do know some students from VFC though so we'll see!
No they aren’t asking for a deposit, but they recommend to do so as it might be beneficial during the visa process. But I’m currently very skeptical about them. It’s been 1-2 months, I’ve been calling them and nobody answers the calls at any given point of time in the day. I sent them an email inquiring about it and I haven’t even received an email response since then. How would I invest my hard earned money to a school in such circumstances???
@@prathibhaperera7406 I was just talking with some flight school owners recently and they said deposits definitely are no guarantee that you will be able to get a VISA. Right now over 50% of VISAs are being declined, regardless of how many thousands of $$$ you send, but the bottom line is--- ALWAYS try to AVOID deposits if you can, but if you really think it will help it's a huge risk on your part if you do it.
Hello Devansh, those are great questions. "Best" is really hard to define, as you can see from a lot of schools they all have some advantages and disadvantages. It depends on whether you can train full-time or part-time, how much plane availability they have, and especially whether they can legally accept international students. At the moment, some of the larger schools around Boundary Bay like ProIFR are pretty good, but some of the smaller ones like Island Coastal Aviation might be able to get you finished faster with their higher plane availability. So... basically it's really tough to say which is best. If I were an international student, I might choose something like Harv's Air in Winnipeg because they have dormitories to stay at and they have really good reviews.
Hi sir, I am an international student and I just applied for professional flight center, can u please tell me how to become an airline pilot from there
That's a great question! Unfortunately I'm not in Vancouver anymore so I can't give you any updated details on any of the flight schools there, but if you join the Discord I have posted some resources like question templates so that you can ask students and find out more about the flight schools they attend so that you can compare them.
Hey Omar, that's a good question, and one I don't think I have the answer to! I think a lot of it depends on your immigration, the flight school you chose to go to (I have heard that some of them have ages they accept, but not all of them do this), and your own ability to take care of yourself, haha. I do know of some younger students coming out here for flight training, but I have yet to meet them in person and/or talk with them to learn more about their experiences. After I talk with them I should get a better idea of what is required, but that might not be for a while.
l got a student visa to study industrial engineering in university of Montreal, but i will like to switch to a flight school in British Columbia.. what school would you recommend for me? BTW can you give me the link to your discord? the one you posted have expired
I recommend you check out the Discord channel and use some of the resources I've made for helping you find a flight school (discord.gg/9jn69VpzFF). Schools change so much so often the info I personally know is already out of date.
That's a great question Naoufal, and I'm sure someone else here might be able to comment on that. Unfortunately, I haven't looked into flight training in the US, and I would imagine that the price varies highly depending on where in the US that you go. I've HEARD (only heard) that there are some areas where flight training is extremely cheap like in Florida, BUT the US dollar is so high right now it's twice as expensive for me. I'm not sure how strong your country's currency is, but for me currency is a major limiting factor.
@@LateDeparture Oh, just seen your answer, sorry. Yeah Canadian dollar sounds like a better off option. My country is Morocco, even if the local currency is not that strong, flight trainning is more expensive tan is Canada
Hello Adam, could you tell me if Coastal Pacific Aviation is a good school, as It seems really good but I would like to talk to somone from that school to know more about it!
You should definitely talk with some people from the school, perhaps you can find them on FaceBook. Unfortunately, the students I talked with from there had negative experiences, so I decided not to go there. Feel free to message me on Discord if you want to know more details about this. discord.gg/4TdSujUn43
@@LateDeparture hi Adam what do you think” Montair “ fly school do you recommend it’s good or bad from 0 to CPL it has dormitories including for international students, please help to decide the best fly academy in Canada and shippers and short time done the career. Thanks Regard from Quito Ecuador 🇪🇨
@@moazmohamed4118 I don't know off the top of my head, but if you go to the aviation study group Discord linked in my video description you can compare all of the prices side-by-side on a spreadsheet we have in the resources there =)
