I was a scare actor for over 20-years. Great times. Another piece of advice, always have a line to say (shout), just jumping out of a dark corner and yelling "AHHHH" is not rally scary. You may startle some people, but you always want to scare. Be one of the parts of the house they are talking about when they come out.
@@thebest545 For example. The one year I was in the meat room I would yell, "YOU'RE GOING TO BE MY NEXT BOWEL MOVEMENT!" The one year I was a demon child I would say, "STAY AND PLAY WITH ME!" One time when some tough guy said, "I think you should play with yourself," I replied "I already played with myself. Now I want to play with yoooooooooou." "Okay, NOW I'm freaked out" was his reply >:)
I’m about to start my job as a scare actor, and I’m really nervous! I’m excited, but nervous at the same time! I’m afraid that I won’t be scary enough or I will mess up! I know it’s supposed to be for fun, but I can’t help but be nervous about it! Any tips on being less anxious?
I was a scare actor for four years. And man, I was terrible at it. I barely got any scares, the guests never found me entertaining, and the other actors hated working with me. I definitely enjoyed working at haunted houses, but I certainly didn't belong in any of them. I leave haunt acting to those who are actually good at it.
I tried a haunted house last night. I was working inside a cramped furnace I'm pretty small but it still squished me in and I didn't get a lot of scares because I could move around.
