Thanks for the video, very informative. I ususally do motor sports or nature photo’s and end up with hundreds or thousands of photo’s go go through and trying to speed up the process.
I love watching workflow videos so I can try to make my own workflow slicker and faster. I found your workflow very clunky and long-winded but I know if you get ten photographers you'll have ten different workflows. I'm not saying it's wrong but there's a much faster way.
Me too! Every photographer I know has a slightly different way of doing things. I primarily use a simple Lightroom workflow so haven’t had the need to massively refine the PM/PS one yet, but that may change this coming season.
I'm using lightroom for my editing. Once the editing is complete the images aren't automatically being sent back to Photomechanic. Is there a procedure to make that happen? Or is that not possible? Thanks for the video. I'm new to Photomechanic and this is very helpful.
Hi Wayne. Apologies, I didn't see this when you posted. I assume LR is set up in Photo Mechanic as your default editor? I suspect because LR keeps the original photo in tact, maybe you will have to export them from LR and load those in a contact sheet in PM? I'd have to test that theory as I haven't used LR to edit as part of a PM workflow, but now I'm curious!
Hi Les. Yes, WeTransfer is a great file transfer option that is free too (up to a certain size!). MyAirBridge is another similar one if you ever need it. Thank you for watching.
