I was 20 when I lost my dad the same way. I have struggled mentally on and off for many years. I’m currently going through a very difficult time and it’s been helpful to hear this.

Grew up listening to him always loved his music then a few years ago I bumped into him at an event it was mad we just stood talking for a good half hour, proper genuine down to earth bloke, have a lot of respect for him

Saved me from my own decisions to let depression take over today was feeling under the weather and this gave me the "umbrella" I needed to block the negative drops from hitting me constantly. I wanna start rap songs about my life and people's struggles as well to help others suffering but procrastinating always makes me loose focus and motivation. Never give up on ur dreams be "someone" . Blessings to the people that pushes for a better tomorrow despite of the crappy past.

Anxiety is a bitch, always creeps up on you when you least expect it, then boom, your mind is making you think the most stupid things about the littlest thing, being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at 26 ruined me for 4 good years, that I have just managed to be able to conquer. I can relate to everything this man speaks about, from talking about you're feelings, journaling to using music to help you through. I lost my father 9 years ago to suicide and just buried my step father to the same thing. It is soo so important to talk to people about the way you are feeling, it's not weak to speak 💚

My dad hung himself when i was 3 years old and tbh there were tough times but the real hit for me was my sister.. she jumped infront of a train in 2018. Its left me with just my mum which is dawning on me alot because i no she wont always be around.

I love professor green, he’s a very well rounded guy despite the adversities he’s faced and he’s done a lot of work with trying to better himself mentally and physically and I’ve got a lot of time for him. He also looks like a great dad and that’s what it’s all about, even though he may not have had the best examples he’s really smashing it ❤

CBT & DBT we’re life changing for me. I was in a behavioral health unit back in 2016 and when I came home I had to commit to a 12weeks intense outpatient programme. I can totally relate to his words here. Resilience does make you a powerful person. Losing a parent at 18 made me very different to my friends, i didnt care about anything that your typical teen would care about going into early adulthood which was like having the upperhand all the time being that bit more mature.Even now years later i can feel empathetic one minute and so cold the next. It really is a survival instinct but putting the negative energy into something you love really does help with grief❤️ its such a confusing thing to explain😂

There aren’t enough words to express how important what this man is doing is. EVERYTHING YOU HOLD IN MUST COME OUT; choose to speak up, choose to be vulnerable with those you love, choose to fight, choose to understand the negativity in your life and over come it. Choose life; even if you believe you have no one WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS STRONGLY AS YOU NEED TO DRAW BREATH.

I’m struggling with Mental Health & addiction. The constant detox & relapse has made me soo weak at this point. Clinical Depression & Anxiety & PTSD which is what I’ve got is real illness & suffering as well as all the other Mental Health issues ppl have it affects the body as well as the mind. May God help us find peace & content🖤💜

I really needed his wisdom, im schizophrenic, have been and still am fighting for control over my own mind, been through a lot of horrible, dark times, but fewer as the years go by learning more and more. I make mistakes, sometimes twice but I learn from them but don't forgive myself and I look back at my past a long, thinking is that who I am? It's not easy I won't lie, I break down a lot but I will always get up stronger, slowly it takes more and more to make me break, becoming more resilient to the world and my mind. I've attempted suicide, 3 times infact, been in mental wards, spent nights in cells, done a lot of things I had no control over because I didn't have any control of my mind, yet what this man says resides in me so deeply it gives me a deep out look on the way I chose to think and live my life.....some times it's easier to let go... Does anyone know if he has an audio book about his life or wisdom in general?

My dad died from overdosing from Heroin at 16, my mum did the same and just told me. I went to high school as normal, as if nothing happened since this was the same man that told me that "you're nothing, not my son" whilst visiting him in a caravan outside my grandma's house. To this day, I don't think I've ever processed it - it's never bothered me and I don't know why. It's good to feel that someone else has had similar experiences.

No idea who this man was but his story just trapped me and I've had to pause the video and listen to a song of his, I'm a fan now. Really puts things in perspective for us dads. I can't see myself doing what his dad did about leaving his family, but it must have been tough for him to get to that point, if anything my kids are the driving force for me to not give up and stay in my fleshsuit in this rock for as long as I can, few things comfort me more than their cuddles.
