Professor Michael Levin from Tufts University publishes up to 50 papers a year and leads a high-profile Paul Allen Center, which was created specifically to support Levin's research. And here is why: Levin came up with a new way to think about cells that build our body. He claims that cells have minds. He can hack into their minds, read their thoughts and manipulate their development. His expirements can make frogs grow new limbs or eyes on their bellies, and turn frog skin into swarms of biorobots.

What is the mechanism for problem solving at a molecular level? What is the definition of "problem" to Dr. Levin. I can't quite figure out what he means by this.

Hmm he says mind exists on a spectrum but do stones have a mind? I think it’s an interesting question because minerals also undergo a kind of evolution towards more stability but in my opinion stones don’t have a mind. But then when you arrange them in a very specific way you can create Ai which could have a mind or at least it simulates one and behaves like one I would be interested to hear Michaels thoughts on that

@bierfassner2253 i think it's kinda ground zero for mind....
