My Parlux has lasted well over 15 years and is still running. I can’t fault it for the price I paid back then which was $180. It has been my best investment ever and still delivers me beautiful soft shiny hair.

Good comparison. Ive had my ghd straighteners for over 18 years and used thousands of times. But I find the ionic /ceramic hairdryers leave my fine hair flat and almost greasy looking.

How interesting! I have a parlux (the aqua one) and gotta say that colour was a big contributor as to why... Plus i wanted something that would dry my hair as quick and easily as possible because i hate drying hair. This has made the process less painful. I was today yrs old when i learnt that quickshot was for "setting" hair. 😂 I use it to not burn my head when its on full blast... How would these compare to that fancy dyson one? 🤔

Parlux IS better. GHD IS vert heavy and less powerfull... Parlux seems to be better quality

On the Parlux why does the dryer turn on if you use the top switch as this are the heat switch, can any one help me?

I looked at Parlux Advance Light at ShaverShop Australia website, it has 2 year warranty 😻

Hey John, the Parlux Advance is a very new dryer and is a little different from the Parlux 365, that's why there is a warranty difference :)

It’s worth knowing that due to the cost of the item and being purchased in Australia, warranty may only be 12 months, but consumer law could be 24 months.

I’m using an old parlux and it’s so heavy! But I do love it. Have used the GHD air and love that one too. Have you used the days on hairdryer? Keen to hear whether the extra $300 gets you anything..

Hey Vesna, I have had a go at the Dyson and I do think it is a good dryer but I personally wouldn't spend that type of money for it! It is comparable to both the GHD, Halo + Parlux, but it is very quiet. Not worth it for the extra $300 though!

what about philips hairdryer is it good ? it is bought with a diffuser . which of them is better philips or parlux ? thanks in advance 😊

Heya Salwa, I don't have much experience with products that aren't professional products- Phillips is a consumer brand while Parlux is a professional brand so they are made for different audiences. I do know that Parlux is an extremely well made italian motored dryer :)

then which one do you recommend? maybe the ghd smoothes too much when it comes to wanting to create volume? too much for fine hair? thanks it was the only video I found.

Hey Laura, like I said, there are hardly any differences between the dryers as far as the finish of the blow-dry as both these products are the best of the best. If you are a hairdresser you may look at getting the Parlux as it is slightly lighter with a commercial warranty, if it's for home use then you may consider the GHD for its 2 year warranty. You will not be disappointed with either! Hope this helped

Hey Emily, I think you're talking about a diffuser which is a round attachment that is used for drying curly/wavy hair- that's the only thing I could think of that would be a third concentrator!

Kristy Gallirhir which one do you think would be great for curly frizzy hair I never blow dry it starlight but it would be good to have a change. Does the parlux come with a nozzle?

Sorry the delay Aisha! Yes both dryers come with a nozzle. I recommend using a thermal brush too if you have particularly frizzy/curly hair, it'll help drying and straightening time!
