Took a look inside some of the best bicycle freewheels on the market today.. I like how both the Profile and White freewheels are made, they are some of the only freewheels you can take apart and replace parts when needed. ig areacycles
Thank you so much for this video! I've been wanting to upgrade from my stock freewheel to the White Industries one, and this gave me a ton of good context. Thanks especially for taking them apart to show the pawls and points of engagement.
I wore through a WI outer gear in less than a year Tbf, I probably should have changed the chain in that time, but yeh, Looking at either replacing the outer casing on the WI or getting the profile elite
That profile elite is like the Chris king of free wheel noise lol. I am personally a huge fan of white industries on all my road bikes. Currently have 4 wheelset all white industries hubs. I love their titanium free hubs.
@@areacycles You should man, I'm sorry but I ordered from a BMX shop yesterday. I tried to donate to your channel to thank you for the breakdown, but couldn't find away to do it, so I subbed. Thank you again.
Ride out supply sounds good but ghost pedals consistently not a major deal as i am just a old cruiser guy but sucks when rolling bike thru house avoiding obsticles
I have a white industries eno 18 t it's very smooth I also have a origin hornet 18 t , when I received it I shook it and it had rattle , attempted to open but couldn't the hornet is loud , slight wobble , plenty of drag ,which I have minimised alot. can you compare others to the hornet, like halo clickstar , ros, box for loudness, smoothness ,serviceability
Been wanting to replace my 10 year old White Industries Freewheel with either the trials version or a profile. I can replace the shark finned teeth for 60 but I kinda would rather just replace the whole thing. Still not sure on my next move.
Ssludos 🙌👍
