I underwent turbinoplasty +septorhinoplasty.Now turbinoplasty was done becoz i was suffering from allergic rhinitis which caused my turbinates to swollen up.Allergic rhinitis is lifelong disease.If you are affected with allergens,turbinates will again swell up when expose to such conditions.So he did turbinoplasty but allergy is still there.Now last day he recommended me to undergo immunotherapy(time:generally 3-5yrs|per booster shot cost rs-2000-3000) to cure allergic rhinitis(there is skin specialist named Arundhati Ghosh who would do that).Had he recommended immunotherapy before op then i won't had to undergo turbinoplasty.i couldhave saved 70k.he didn't recommended that beforehand becoz he knew that he wont get that operation money.During my first visit he said me to do nasal endoscopy(rs-700/) while everything can be seen with machinery available to them or simple torchlight flashed into my nose can detect all problems.His junior surgeon fees was that.That test was unnecessary & kind of malpractice.Talking about Rhinoplasty,Dr TK Ghosh said me in phone that he would make my nose straight.Now after 6months of rhinoplasty my nose become more swollen & looks bad than before.I liked my preop surgery nose than it.i feel i wasted my money & my nose look ugly.he did not give me the result he promised.He isn't proficient in rhinoplasty.Don't believe what he say.Ask for patient's pic before & after rhinoplasty. Cons:1)Don't do nasal endoscopy(rs-700) it's unnecessary 2)If he recommend sugery don't believe him.Do consult other government doctors.in my case i consulted other docs they said no to op.But his rating brought me there for rhinoplasty.now result is ugly nose. 3)he recommends sugery to every patients even to those patient can be cured with simple medicines.Don't fall in trap to undergo surgery. 4)If patient is suffering from allergic rhinitis don't do turbinoplasty becoz after 2-3 years your nose will again swell up.Treat allergy by avoiding allergens & immunotherapy can only be done for severe allergy.He recommend that to get rs 2000-3000 per booster shot for 2-4 years on regular basis.Don't do that. My note to Dr TK ghosh: i trusted you to cure my nose & you are greedy doctor who sucked out only money.What's the point of doing operation if my nose turbinates will again swell up in 2-3years? I gave you money to cure my nose forever. Why would i undergo immunotherapy when i deposited 70k in your centre for recent op? You want me to undergo immunotherapy but my nose swelling can be reduced with simple medication.Give medications then say to undergo immunotherapy.If it doesn't work then recommend surgery.I know you did it for money. now understand patient come from long distance to cure.They or I don't want to come everyday or few months in interval to get booster shots or medicines for allergic rhitis.You could have gave me antiallergic medicines in phone.you didn't becoz you wanted 500/ fees.it took me 6hours of journey to reach there. Now when i look at my nose i feel disgusted & ugly.You made my nose look as bad as you can.If it comes to my power i would have simply close your foundation centre.Stop being so greedy & cure patient & be calm. You didn't do that surgery.that was done by your junior surgeons.i saw one of them operating on another patient while i was entering the operation room.you were relaxing. Listen patients come to your centre to cure themselves with exchange of money.They don't want to visit you centre often & give you money after 6months operation.Stop doing such malpractices.I thought of lodging objection to west bengal medical council/mcc but i backed down.You'll soon see the results of your mal-practice
