Profiles host Mickey Burns interviews singer Aaron Neville in this 10 minute episode teaser. A singer since the early 60s, his tremendous falsetto has been called, "The only voice like it on the planet." For over 30 years Aaron has been a key member of the legendary "Neville Brothers Band." In the mid-80s Aaron teamed up with Linda Ronstadt for a series of duets. The collaboration would produce 3 consecutive mega hits, two #1s and multiple Grammy Awards.
Neville is also an accomplished poet, he recently published a book of poetry titles, "I Am A Song," reflecting his feelings following Hurricane Katrina's flooding of his hometown of New Orleans in 2005. In 1966 Aaron released the ballad, "Tell It Like It Is," which reached #1 nationally, but Aaron never received any royalties because his record filed for bankruptcy. Neville didn't give up though -- and his singing would eventually lead to a remarkable 50 year career in the music business.
