Jeffrey Kaplan, also referred to by many as "Papa Jeff" is a video game designer who served as the vice president of Blizzard Entertainment and played a key role in designing key elements of titles such as World of Warcraft, but most notably for his work on Overwatch.
As the Principal Game Director of Overwatch, Kaplan was beloved by fans as the voice for developer updates and was a cornerstone of the community.

Why did Jeff Kaplan leave Activision Blizzard? As Blizzard continues to face a series of controversies that have come to light with the onset of their lawsuit with the state of California, it has been revealed that ex-Overwatch director protected his team from "corporate BS" while with the company and tried to rectify cultural issues with his departure.

You should play OverWatch man its a great game if played with the right people trust me for years I just watched my gf played and never played....its one of the greatest games of all time to me...I just started playing it a few days ago actually...people suck but the theory and diversity in this game and style of play u can find in other games but only in OW you feel like you are playing OW...

One of the inspiring, hard focussed and "anoying"(for his team mates) guys in the positive part of the quick changing industry of software developement and hopefully, we will see him again in a new FPS PVP game - live ur dream and pls come back, papa jeff! Green hills of stranglethorn was not removed from the game. It is in classic and was in vanilla and is a very notorious quest to this day lol. Its just amazing that jeff kaplan made a quest with such good intentions but the community ended up hating it.
