@@Handsum16MF I really do, down 40 lbs, I just started using it again after not having time for a workout for about a month and the only complaint is that for some reason the caloric count is really off. I don't know how to fix that, I know the calories indicated are never correct but now they're off more than when I started using it. I know I'm getting a great workout either way
Before assembly, you should check the electrical components to be sure there is no manufacturer error. I assembled this for my office and the power cord was pinched.
I purchased this item a little while ago. I am grateful for this video because it gave me a preview of how to set this machine up. My brother and I are going to set it up together. He'll take one side and I will assemble the other! Thanks for the guidance!
Am i the only one who feels that the pedals are a bit stiff at the lowest resistance? Maybe it's just me but it doesn't move as smoothly as when I use elliptical at the gym?
El cable de alimentación se enchufa en la parte delantera de la máquina elíptica, en el lado derecho de la base, justo encima del estabilizador trasero. (The power cord plugs in the front of the elliptical, in the right side of the base, just above the rear stabilizer. )
Just put it together and once i plugged the power adapter nothing on the console display is showing. Do i need to activate it so that something will apear? Or do i have a defective console or electrical component.
you do need to activate the console but it should be showing a message like "HELLO" on the display. If there is no hello message then I would check for pinched or disconnected wires or try a new power supply. If you are getting the "HELLO" message follow the instructions at www.ifit.com/activate
Same thing happened to me. Brand new, put together, and did not work. I cannot return it to the store so I called the company and they sent me a new console. Just got it and it is not the console because it still does not work. Don't know what to do.
@@vanessasoliz1199 it is either the console or the wires between the console and the power supply or the power supply itself. If the wires are connected and there's no reason to suspect they are loose, disconnected, or damaged and you have a second console then it seems your power supply may not be producing the power needed. (or there is no power from the wall but you can check that out by plugging a lamp into the outlet and turning on the light). Ill have them send a new power supply your way.
This is my problem. Plug works, outlet works, nothing from the console. The answer was to send me a new plug rather than a new console. 🙄 Huge time suck trying to get a response as well.
Hi there. I’ve had the unit for about a week and for some reason I can’t get the resistance to change at all. Resistance 2 is the same as 12. It was working and I had some great workouts but every time I try to increase resistance it won’t get more difficult. Cables are connected to the console (just checked) and have looked inside to see if anything looks obviously disconnected but nothing appears to be out of order. Any suggestions?
Do you hear the resistance motor turning when you change the resistyance on the console? if not then there may be a disconnect between the console and the motor. If the motor is making noises then it may be a bad motor and no longer pulling or releasing the resistance cable but it is trying to.
Thanks for the quick reply. There is no noticeable noise at all when I change the resistance. I’ll unscrew the right leg and see if I can separate the panel to get a better look in there. That should be enough of a workout right there. :).
I purchased this item the company delivered it ready to use but when i tried to use it nothing is working a dont have idea i cant find the electricy conector or where the batteries must be place i am going to drive me crazy
The model in this video does not have the option for batteries. The power supply plugs into the front of the Elliptical below the console near the floor.
My crank arm doesn’t stay on, when I’m working out it takes about 7 mins and it falls off. Very frustrating any reasons as to why or what I can do to fix it?
I can't say for sure without more information but I will guess that the part coming off is the stud where you mount the pedal arm. These have been hard to get tight because of the patch of thread lock on them. If they are not tight the pedal arm can bind on them making them more likely to rotate and when pedaling in the forward direction, can unscrew the left stud. The two things I can recommend is to make sure the studs are tight in place and that the stud set screws (key # 89 in the manual) are also tight enough to prevent rotation of the axle. Then also make sure the stud is well greased.
So the console has left arm on the right side and right arm on the left side... am I following the back and just doing what it says or should I plug it in the common sense way?
it will not actually affect pulse wires and function to be plugged in backwards. I never noticed the printing on the console except to match up the wires coming from the upright/pulse grips. If there were buttons involved with the pulse wires I definitely would pay attention to the labels on the wires and match them to the printing on the PCB to make sure the buttons functioned correctly.
I brought this, but the machine isn’t keeping track of calories or progress. I followed this video from start to finish but for the life of me can’t figure out what is wrong. It stops at 30 secs, says too slow and turns off
It sounds like the unit does not know it's pedaling. This is usually because the speed sensor is out of adjustment. The speed sensor is sometimes called the Reed switch. instructions on making adjustments for your specific unit are in your user's manual. There are also generic videos on this channel for making reed switch adjustments.
The pivot Axel isn't going all the way through the upright. If I go through right to left it gets stuck at the left side. If I try to go from left to right it doesn't fit at all. Any suggestions?
No, you do not need any kind of subscription to do manual workouts on any iFIT enabled equipment. This model does come with a 30 day free trial to the subscription service and may instruct you to sign up for the free trial to activate your console. If you do not want to sign up for the free trial when you assemble the equipment and the console is not active, just press and hold the blue "iFIT Sync" button for like 15-20 seconds to bypass the trial membership. You can use the trial member ship later.
The power adapter plugs into the base of the machine just above the front stabilizer. You can see the power jack at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_craXA7l3cE.htmlfeature=shared&t=25 in the video. Just to the left side of the unit on the screen.
El modelo de este video está diseñado para usar una fuente de alimentación de CC que se conecta en la base de la elíptica cerca del estabilizador frontal. "The model in this video is designed to use a DC power supply that plugs in at the base of the elliptical near the front stabilizer."
Most noises are caused bay parts that have come loose. Tightening or adjusting all the parts usually resolves unwanted noise issues. While you are doin that you may discover parts that are broken or worn out that need to be replaced. This could also cause unwanted noise.
After assembly I used it. It started completly silent but by the end of the workout it was squeaking a lot. I double checked everything, added extra grease in moving parts and still the same. Any ideas?
you've done the right things. Squeaks usually occur because of loose parts. Commomn places to check if you haven already is the front and rear stabilizer and the upright mast bolts. these hare easy to forget about tightening because they are usually under cosmetic covers.
Acabo de comprar una máquina nueva y cuando la voy a activar me dice q el código no funciona me pueden recomendar algo por favor 🙏 obtengo q pagar la mensualidad de todas formas ???
There is no obligation or need to pay to activate your product. If you would like to subscribe to the iFit service you can do so month to month or for a slightly lower amount pay for a yearly membership. The equipment is fully functional whether you decide to join iFit or not. I think iFit is a great tool for most people to help them reach their fitness goals. Give the 30 day free trial a go. there is no obligation if you decide to cancel. If you enter your billing info online you will be automatically renewed when your trial period is over, (like most online subscription services), so be aware if you intend not to continue with iFit.
@@FitnessEquipmentHelp but the Elliptical machine comes with locked. and if you don't unblock it, it doesn't work. Will you continue working after the 30 day trial?
That is a Bluetooth pairing code. you can verify which device you are trying to connect to by using this code to verify when trying to connect to your smart device. This video may be useful: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f7o5Xaw_SMk.html
If using a button on the console wakes the unit back up then it seems like you may need to adjust your speed sensor. This is also the case if the console is not keeping track of speed and distance. There should be instructions in your manual to help you adjust your reed switch.
I have an issue with squeaking and black/silver (metallic?) dust mostly near the back/flywheel(?) part of the elliptical. Any ideas? It's a ProForm 600 LE
Nothing specifically. if the noise is occurring 1 time per revolution it is likely to do with the crank axle or possibly one of the crank studs. If the noise is multiple times per revolution then I would inspect the flywheel on the inside of the machine.
@@FitnessEquipmentHelp I think I figured it out. Looks like the crank bushings have been wearing out, because that's where the metallic dust is coming from. I think most of the other noise should be fixed by just retightening stuff. Any suggestions on where I can get replacement parts? Again, this is for a ProForm 600 LE elliptical, model #PFEL04912.1.
this console is not backlit so can be hard to see in a dimly lit room. try using a light to see if the display is more easily visible. some models have a contrast adjustment. the product shown in this video does not but if you have a different model it may be an option. Check your user's manual for instructions on how to adjust the contrast if it is an available option. If the display is actually faded and you are under warranty send a picture to the manufacturer and they should replace it under warranty.
Squeaking comes from parts that are moving that are not supposed to. usually it means there are parts that have come loose or were not properly tightened. i am able to fix most squeaks by tightening the hardware on the ellipticals. Sometimes a little bit of grease on moving parts can help as well.
This video was really helpful. I lost some washers and screws and because of it i was able to put it together. How often should I lubricate the joints and pedals once it's put together?
I would rubricate all the bushings as needed but check them every 3 to 6 months. if the grease has worn away you will start to have wear on the bushings that will end up with them needing them to be replaced. its also good to make sure you go through and tighten up all the parts regularly.
@@loiwalmaheshwari6351 The equipment comes with a packet of grease for assembly. You can use any kind of PTFE grease if you need to reapply grease later on.
I don't have one that only shows lubricating the elliptical but this video shows you where it is applied at assembly and where it can be reapplied when maintaining the elliptical. see the video at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_craXA7l3cE.html and at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_craXA7l3cE.html for how to apply lubrication to the axles. It is recommended to use a PTFE type lubricant.
How to tell which assembled Arm+Leg is right and which one is left? The labels go inside the tubes and couldn't be seen after assembly. Or, when the arms are installed on pivot and you are on the pedals - are the (upper) handles inclined towards you or outward?
The wire connectors to the back of the console need to affirmatively lock and snap into position. Because of the shortness of the wire its possible it did not get locked into position. I would double check to make sure the wires have locked into the connector in the back of the console and push on each of the wires to make sure they are seated and haven't been pulled out of the connection. Good luck.
@@FitnessEquipmentHelp I sent you the serial number, did you get it? Best Buy want me to send back the whole machine, only needs a monitor exchange, as far as I can see. Any option for this ?? Probably save you guy quite a bit just doing a monitor exchange
@@jamesh8654 I got it. It doesn't look like it you've registered it for your warranty with the manufacturer. I agree that it likely is a simple replacement. if it is not a wire connection issue then either a new power supply or a new console should resolve your issue.
This is bogus company. Do not buy extended service contract. If you have equipment in garage, they will not service your equipment even with warranty or extended service contract.
there are a lot of companies that will void warranty if your equipment is kept in the garage, even a finished garage. Next time, move it into the house before you call customer service :)
@@christianproo2200 si, eran las barras de abajo, donde se apoya al suelo quitalas y engrasa la parte que tiene contacto con la máquina, vino el técnico le costó encontrarlo pero después de engrasar tooodo encontró que esa parte faltaba
The instructions in the manual direct you to the front of the elliptical. The power adaptor port can bee seen in this video at the 20 second mark, at the front of the elliptical, just above the stabilizer where the manual indicate. I hope this helps.
I would first check the connection in the back of the console. I believe the wire connects directly to the console PCB and May have come loose or is unattached. Is it possible the power cord has been kicked or tripped on. This will sometimes cause the connection inside elliptical to short out. Wiggling the power wire can sometimes cause the console to flicker on and off. If so replace the power jack wire or power supply.
