The ProForm Carbon T14 is at the top of the Carbon Series from ProForm. This is a midrange model that comes with some nice built-in features that are found on higher-end models. Plus, it is sturdy and comfortable to use - what more could you ask for?
Starting with the programming, the T14 is enabled with iFit which comes free for the first month when you purchase this treadmill. iFit is displayed on the 14” touch screen and offers thousands of guided workout classes. Training on and off the treadmill is possible with iFit for total-body, well-rounded programming. The T14 automatically adjusts the speed and incline levels for you when you take a class, too!
We recommend the ProForm Carbon T14 for walking, jogging, hiking, and light running. It has a 2.75 CHP motor that is best for this kind of use and lighter to moderate levels of activity. If you’re looking for a treadmill to train for a marathon or if you have multiple members in your household who want to use the treadmill, we recommend checking out the ProForm Pro 9000. The T14 isn’t best for heavy use. The motor is pretty quiet however and should be appropriate for most home spaces.
The deck is 20” x 55”. This makes the T14 pretty compact, but this might limit taller users from being able to run comfortably. Most users, including our reviewers who range from 5’1” up to 6’5”, are all able to jog, and our shorter reviewers can run on it at a faster pace, too. If you have a longer stride length you might be more limited to jogging.
If you’re looking for a treadmill that takes up less space and folds, however, this one is a great pick! The folding mechanism uses a hydraulic assist, unlike the other Carbon Treadmills from ProForm. This is very helpful when lifting and lowering the deck. Plus, folding makes this treadmill easier to store.
For a pretty affordable treadmill, this one has nice cushioning that helps protects your joints and feel comfortable underfoot. I personally love the steel crossbar under the console. It helps keep the screen from shaking and makes this treadmill feel really solid and durable.
If you’re looking for a treadmill with interactive training content, and comfortable cushioning, that’s great for walking, jogging, and some running, then check out the ProForm Carbon T14. We’re really impressed with this little treadmill, and we think you will be too!

I purchased this treadmill and really like it! If you need to tighten the belt for slippage it comes with numerous allen wrenches, however when trying them, none seemed to fit the rear tightening bolts. Thats because they have paint on them and won't go in the hole! The size to use is a 7/32" allen wrench. Compare that to the ones they send and remove the painted tip and it goes in fine. It's hard to see into the hole from the back, but if you raise and lock the platform you can get a good sideview with a little flashlight to guide you into the hole. When tightening only go 1/4 of a turn clockwise at a time on each bolt until slippage stops.

Thanks , bought this one. The compact size , but full features and belt space for us (5” and 5’9”) for walking and jogging. Liked the sole 63 also but smaller size if this one helped us make the choice. UPDATE: couple weeks with the new Carbon 14 used daily. The treadmill is great nonissues or complaints so far. I like the IFIT (didn’t expect too) 4:58 had another brand with lcd trainer it was just OK.The IFIT programs I’m really enjoying. Maybe just do the single user program for cheaper 1 year subscription. 14 inch screen is worth the upgrade if you plan on using IFIT.

We purchased one. It arrived damaged and getting a hold of someone at the company to help us was like pulling teeth. We took pictures of all the damage, and they sent us some of the correct replacement parts which I then had to replace myself. Now both of the fans have stopped working. So while this treadmill gets pretty good reviews, keep in mind that experiences may vary.

I wish you guys would review the new Horizon treadmills lit the T202. You have reviews of every model of iFit compatible equipment but don't go into the multiple other models of other brands. Horizon has revamped their T101, 202 & 7.0AT for 2023. Please consider checking out these models. Or maybe review the Sole ST90 slat belt treadmill. It would be nice to see the updated models or other brands.

Like to see a review on Life Fitness F3 Treadmill. I know they are pricey but are they worth it in the long run ?

We haven't tested this treadmill yet, but we do have a spec review that you can check out here with all our thoughts on the F3. www.treadmillreviewguru.com/life-fitness-f3-treadmill-review/ We've used the Run CX from Life Fitness and it performs like a treadmill you'd find a public gym, so for a home treadmill that's commercial quality, the Run CX is worth the price, in our experience.

As a suggestion , it would be good to see what functions are available without an ifit subscription or are all treadmills locking everyone into monthly fees bricking the treadmills unless you pay?

Thanks for the tip! There are standard (non-trainer-led) onboard workouts available without a subscription and you can use manual mode on iFit-enabled equipment, so iFit isn't required to use the machines.

If you click browse at the bottom of the screen then scroll down i found "included Workouts" that were trainer led.

Just purchased. How do we turn on/off? Do we have to do the switch every time or will it go to sleep mode automatically until the next time. It just seems every time I turn it off via switch, it has updates/takes forever, I don’t think that’s right 🙃

It seems to go to sleep but the manual recommends turning the switch off each time to save wear and tear on the consoles electronics. They even go as far as telling you to unplug it.
