Pranam swamiji..your discourses on vedanta are so brilliant, sharp, succint and deep..feel blessed to listen to you and assimilate..prostrations to you!
Wow .. what a lecture; Rev Swami Atmapriyananda effortlessly weaves Science, Philosophy, Logic, Humour, His own Compassion, Wisdom into his talk. I loved the way he starts with the question i.e "What is meant by Change? " and the logical - Step by Step - manner in which he takes us through to the realization that "I am Brahman " ( & so are you ); Using this method even I can now explain it to others. I loved this lecture .Thank you, Swamiji. We look forward to hearing from you EVEN when you are back in Kolkatta
I like the isha upanichad I Believe that God is one is just that people call in different names . God is the same in every language Salamon came to the conclusion that life is all vanity Jesus said , don't make treasures on earth , make treasures on heavens
The living being hear and see and think in order to survive and having survived the ear and the eye had additional functions, so ear of the ear or eye of the eye could see and hear more.
at exactly minutes it say "if you say its not me, then there has to be an authority apart from me, then it will be two, infinity by definition cannot be two by definition and therefore i'm that infinite. " . It didnot made sense to me. can you please elaborate on this,?
Hi Sreenivasa, i got the point i'm confused at 30:00 mins it makes the statement "if you say its not me, then there has to be an authority apart from me, then it will be two, infinity by definition cannot be two by definition and therefore i'm that infinite". It still did not make sense
Sir I am just trying to clarify in the way I understood. We are using the words 'me' and infinite. By recognising the real nature of "me' one recognises ( only recognition without any subject object relation). By negating that you are not the body ( as it is an object to you like any other thing in the world), nor the mind, nor the feelings etc, you recognise your pure self which is just subjective awareness and which cannot be object to any other subject. This 'me' pure awareness has no form. you can recognise that it has no form. since any thing which has no form is infinite 'me'(you) are infinite
if the meaning of infinite is one and there is no body other than me. search for Life After Death from Yogiraj SatGurunath Siddhanath " then does sharadha required? who is doing this sharddha? why there many people in the pitru loka?

Not Brahma but Brahman ! According to sans grammar the. former is the creator of the universe and is masc gender whereas the latter ,i.e.brahman means the absolute and is neutral gender !!
Replace infinity with nothingness and all the conditions satisfied by infinity will be done so by nothingness too. "Aham Brahmasmi" becomes "Aham shoonyam"
Every vedant upnishad teacher , speaks Shlokas in Sanskrit and then explains in English, Kindly can we have lectures in Hindi , All scholars go abroad to teach in English, No one teaches in India in normal Hindu temples where mass hindu live . All are left to go do karmakand and no guidance towards gyan kand and upnishad teaching . Kind regards
Swami LOST it at 35:35. What nonsense is it to say, do NOT ask questions ? Every Question shall be asked, and answers found out. UPanishads are themselves a Quest for Answers. DISGRACEFUL lecture.
He didn't say don't ask questions. He said don't ask these ' theoretical ' questions related to existence and truth such as When did the world begin? Who created the world ? etc. Instead ask questions that lead you to experience the truth yourself directly
