Revisiting this as I prepare this for my Bandcamp Prototypes collection. There's already a version there, but without this chaotic intro (I'd also like to tweak the mix and tinker with the ending). While at it, I made this tab for pretty much what I'd do if I were playing "Angry Bebop: Haunted Mouths" live with a band. It looks ridiculous in this format, but maybe it gets enough across. I notated my most likely picking solutions in the first section in case anyone's curious about how I articulate it: as economically as possible.

You arpeggiate like Joshua Meader here (who, if you’re somehow not already familiar, I deeply admire, so please consider this a heartfelt compliment and strong endorsement). Ya gotta love a wizard who’s secure enough in his magic to freely pull back the curtain and show how masterfully he works the machinery.

The RU-vid gods have blessed me by recommending your channel. What an amazing tune! Very beautiful too. It's chaotic but so controlled and tight, so sounds very cohesive and intentional. I also agree, how do you come up with this?!

Thanks for the kind words! The short version of how I came up with it is that I blurted out the intro quickly, mostly for fun, and intended that to be the whole thing. I added that big chord after the intro to give it an ending. But it didn't feel finished, so I added another chord (with drums, etc.) and another, and it became clear that I was making a longer song. In fact, the version I have up at Bandcamp right now doesn't even have the intro, but I'm going to put up a version that does have it. The footage here is of me recording the song, and some of the parts I'm coming up with on camera. I write music in a variety of ways, and would be happy to say more about them if anyone's interested.
