What would you reccomend for an intermidiate powerlufter getting back into training after a 2 month lay off?

I don't understand your gripe with the 90% AMRAP. Do you think that someone will progress so quickly in the first three mesocycles that 90% of the TM will now be way too low of an intensity since one's actual max has outpaced the TM by too much?

Its just a needless addition to the program. What is the point in setting training percentages and then artifically lowering them by 10%? Indirectly via an adhoc adjustment. Either the percentages you have programmed are appropriate or they aren't.

It should be add 2.5 pounds for upper body lifts, not 5
