All Around and Around: Exploring 360-Degree Continuous Rotation Servos
Unlike their standard counterparts limited to 180 degrees, 360-degree continuous rotation servos offer endless movement, making them ideal for applications requiring constant spinning or smooth, sweeping motions.
Control Continuous servo are the same like 180 Degree Servo.
But different command, and movement (rotation)

So far no library for this servo.
How They Work:
These servos function similarly to regular servos, utilizing a motor, gearbox, and control circuit. However, their design lacks the limitations of fixed endpoints, allowing for continuous rotation in either direction. The control signal, typically a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal, determines the direction and speed of rotation.
Common Applications:
Robotics: 360-degree servos are perfect for driving wheels, rotating robotic arms, and creating panning mechanisms for cameras or sensors.
Animation: Animatronic figures and interactive displays often utilize these servos to bring characters and objects to life with smooth, continuous movement.
Lighting Control: Rotating platforms and spotlights can be controlled by 360-degree servos, enabling dynamic lighting effects for events or exhibits.
DIY Projects: From creating rotating art installations to building automated watering systems, the possibilities for creative applications are vast.
Things to Consider:
Torque: Choose a servo with sufficient torque to handle the intended load and resist unwanted movement.
Speed: Consider the required rotation speed for your application. Some servos offer faster rotation but may have lower torque.
Size and Weight: Depending on your project's space constraints, consider the servo's size and weight, especially for weight-sensitive applications like drones or small robots.
Control Interface: Select a servo compatible with your control system, whether it be a microcontroller, dedicated servo controller, or other control board.
Getting Started:
Numerous 360-degree continuous rotation servos are available from various manufacturers, catering to diverse needs and budgets. Popular options include the MG996, SG90, and DS04-NFC servos, offering a good balance of features and affordability for beginners.
With their versatility and ease of use, 360-degree continuous rotation servos open doors to a world of creative possibilities, making them a valuable tool for hobbyists, roboticists, and anyone looking to add a touch of continuous motion to their projects.
