Programing a Honda Silverwing HISS Key 

Would this also work out for the 650 transalp which also has hiss ,good tip there thanks

Hi, I bought a used 2006 Honda Silverwing wing 600 and the previous owner only gave me a silver honda metal key. The start button doesn't function. There is a wired switch from under the seat that I have to use to turn on the starter. I do have the key serial number tag. Do you think the previous owner lost the original key and set up a by pass wire instead of paying for a new key? Do all 2006 Silverwing 600's have a special key? Mine is a Canadian model. Do I still need an original key to pair with a blank non programmed key? Thanks.

Hello, you didn't say nothing about the 1Watt 100 Ohms resistor from the positive cable apart the fuse. In the upper part of the red cable, after the fuse, i see clearly the cable is thicker and there must be the resistor, am i wrong ?!?!
