In this video tutorial I show you how I was able to program my Boss RC505MK2 Loop Station so that I could use my KMI SoftStep footswitch to control it for hands-free function.

I love my MK1 505, it's literally the most fun bit of gear I've ever owned. Interesting to see that Hoshiko Yamane (from Tangerine Dream) has just bought the SoftStep3

Thanks, this is exactly what I needed! Would the extra input left on the expander work to sync the Boss with my synth, if I connect it with the synth's midi out?
