Evesham is just up the road from me, one thing that may interest is the Light Railway North of the town, the river is relaxing to be near too. If you fancy a short drive in car/van, there’s Broadway Tower & Country park with excellent views, & they have reindeer section, also at Broadway the start of the GWSR Heritage Railway starts there & goes all the way to Cheltenham through Cotswold Countryside. Have fun ⭐️
Couldn't make out most of what you said, Lorna, so I had to turn subtitles on, and go back to the beginning. Best wishes for the course, and hope you get your boat soon.
Cant wait to see the new boat Lorna ! Good luck with the course, if the weather is fine and you have spare time, its a lovely walk down the River Avon to Hampton Ferry, enjoy !
Hi Lorna love your taste in the football club your showing off, didn't know you are a fellow LFC supporter ( well i assume you are by the top your wearing)
Some nice but expensive pubs in Evesham, so I tend ot use the Weathrspoons, the Samuel Smith. As I usually get there by bus, it's handily next to the bus station! Nice town otherwise, and you're on the edge of the Cotswolds.
Hi Lorna, I grew up in Evesham it’s famous for producing asparagus and all things fruit and veg, the river is lovely ☺️ the town is sadly not what it used to be it does however have a fantastic old cinema which is definitely worth a visit as is the Almonry Museum. The Cotswolds are just up the road, Broadway Tower is fab has a great cafe and spectacular walks and views… Pershore is not far and is a great town for walking around… hope you enjoy your course x
Great to hear your boat is all positive now. Time to knuckle down with studying. I am sure you will pass with flying colours. Enjoy the shorts in the sun
Good luck, hoping you get the chance to cruise this year on your new boat. I on the other hand find my boat broken again, when a rope got wrapped around prop and broke the coupler to the gearbox and damaged the engine mounts, so can’t move for about a week or two
🌟All the best Lorna. Boat shouldn’t be long now. 👍 Sadly, our lovely family boat is going up for sale this w/e. Health and age have badly limited our mobility since covid, and our son’s profession ( a mariner) means the boat isn’t getting the use it used to, or should. Great memories, hopefully another family will enjoy her as much as we have. 😢. Joan
