I waited 10 years for this re-release, missed it the first time. Too bad Kaneda is still made by Medicom with their mediocre 1/6 manufacturing. It should have been made by Hot Toys or VTS/DAM Toys.
I snatched up the bike and figure when it first came out years ago, still amazing every time I look at it. I agree that the Medicom Kaneda isn't that great, but in their defense Kaneda has held up well all these years, not suffering from just random breakage like most older Medicom stuff. The jacket and pants are still surprisingly intact and no signs of wear. I only ever kept it in display in an acrylic case, but I have been messing with it lately. Also, don't do what I did and forget that it has batteries in it if you get it and keep it a while. One of them leaked acid out lol, I have to get some AAAs and see if the lights and sounds still work. It didn't look too bad a damage.
