I just realized this. The Player at 1:50 with the DMR carefully slings the dog tag over the gun, while with the MP40 at 6:20 tosses it away. The guy respects the UAC soldier who used the gun while they disregard the Nazi that used the MP40. I love little details like this!
That's Doomguy's dogtag, the player starts with the rifle along with the pistol and machete, Doomguy takes his dogtag and put's it on the upgrade DMR when he gets it

I'm just in awe of this. Are these weapon animations still based on sprites or some combination of 2D, pseudo 3D. I don't know what I'm saying, I just can't comprehend this.
Looks like you are using a really fucking old version of the mod, I can tell from the old carbine sprites and the black hole launcher being a separate weapon instead of an alternate mode for the BFG.
@@samong3670 Hmm, the description does list one of those shitty no effort neural upscale mods. So it might be that weapons like the carbine have the new sprites replaced by the old upscaled ones the mod has. With the black hole gun being an addon that adds it back for some stupid reason, because it's not longer in the mod.
It is using version 3.0 master edition, it has not been updated for 2 or 3 years, the new version is called PB 3.0 staging, it is the one that is constantly updated and has the new carbine sprites like other weapons
All PB needs is a weapon limit. You get so many guns it needs a "one gun per slot" thingy. For example... The Pistol can be switched with the Revolver. SSG can be switched with the ASG. The DMR can be switched for the Carbine, for the Minigun you can swap it out for the LMG. Just to not clog up the gun slots

Maybe people will hate me but i always found useless have many guns Many options but they're pretty similar to actually find a real reason to use them, so you got your inventory full of useless guns
Yeah, you can even, if you want, just use pistol, but ammo will go out. Everything is about ammo. Also try the highest difficulty. Actually DMR, carbine is very helpful on bigger distances, while shotgun is pretty universal. The nailgun alternate mode can pierce through enemies and headshot some heavy enemies. DMR upgrade is like alternate nailgun, but much better and with faster shooting speed. Dual-wielding autoshotguns are good against big chunks of enemies, but waste your shells really quick. Freezer rifle got better in latest version but yeah, it's still weak, yet frozen enemies drop health now. Deagles when dual-wielded are like autoshotguns, but much accurate - good for eliminating zombies, also deagles comsume 2 pistol bullets for one shot, so it very wasteful. Yeah, you can even walkthrough the game with axes, but that's not the point of the fun in game like this. Your opinion remembers opinion of UnderTheMayo, like what he said about Ultrakill... So, PB is more like Ultrakill - it's about some creativeness and interesting combos that you can make with weapons.
Also true, in gameplay wads like brutal doom for an example, it makes a little bit of sense having so many different weapons, since enemies don't drop tons of ammo. But in PB I've found myself maxing out most of my ammo pools halfway through a ma. It feels like Russian Overkill but for people that don't want to play it, the only difference is that there is a *hard mode* which is actually hard
I wish the flamethrower was much better than what is it now. The altfire is strong but primary fire is just useless. Should have same damsge like brutal doom tbqh.
