wondering how does yours not die? I am mid geared and already poofed 2x Mager Slayer as the golem died. Does he also benefit from Redemption (Phoenix?) or just + skills while summoning and use prebuff/golem gear to do so?
I dig this as the end game meta for summons. I'm so far behind on gear this season though. Luckily I didn't build pride yet, so I guess I can pivot into phoenix next then innocence.
When you do that respec to get the point out of blood warp you may want to consider maxing amp before your skeleton warriors. They get very little hp per hard point and they are a super small % of your total damage. I’m certain it would be a dps increase, but it’s not like you need it. Also, at some point in PD2, 1 point in curse mastery would give you the passive radius bonus for your curse (0.6 for amplify), so that’s probably worth sacrificing an additional point in warrior (although I can’t find any information if this is still a thing). I also think your damage would rise using Nosferatu instead of Razortail. With such outrageously high damage as you have, I’m quite certain 10% deadly strike would be a damage boost over the 20 max, even though your deadly is already pretty high. Anyways these are insignificant, dinky things. Awesome character. I really like the use of bone armor and a smaller HP pool to smooth out sustain - blood warp is taking big chunks out of my 2k hp. Cheers man.
Yeah I considered that, especially for the bigger radius on amp. Wasn't sure if the reduced warrior and archer (from synergy) damage was worth. I did the respec and swapped gheeds for another skiller so I got an extra 2pts into amp and extra radius at 15 hard points. I think the dex and max dmg from razortail beats 10ds, also razortail caps pierce if the g skull has below 34 pierce. I have heard 1pt curse mastery was a thing but I assumed it was people confusing hard points and soft points. Unless it's bugged because 1pt should not do anything. Maybe I need to test it myself because I could not find a definitive answer on it. Good discussion mate appreciate it!
@@enpherno I ran the numbers for “fun”, using a guesstimated amount (200 of your max) that the 20 damage from Razortail offers. Razortail Normal hit 7629 51% of the time it does 11443 49 normal hits = 389079 51 deadly hits = 583593 972672 total Nosferatu Normal hit 7429 61% of the time it does 11143 39 normal hits = 289731 61 deadly hits = 679723 969454 total Again the 200 damage is just my best guess - If it adds more than 200 damage Razor becomes even better, especially with the additional 4% pierce - and vastly moreso for players who don’t have a giant skull (like me). If it doesn’t add that much, I’d probably advantage Nosferatu for damage and deadly consistency - as well as a life leech source if you have none. Super super marginal difference in any case, I thought it would be more decisive than this. MATH!
If most of the kills come from the merc with innocence, then why not run golems instead so more mobs hit the merc to trigger more procs of multishot? I don't see the point in any of the gear on the character for this "merc" build
You think this build could kill dclone or rathma? I'd definitely power down the iron golem for those fights but i'm curious if you could keep the merc alive
do you really farm all of this yourself and trade for it? if so that is absolutely nutty im sitting here with infinity sorc torch and anni feeling good lmao
I have this build running. But my dmg is crap compared to what I had before all the rune word gear. I got beast, might, phx, innoc, 4 soc dem with 35+ ed jewels. My dmg is 1/2 of what it was before all the gear. Any suggestions that makes the build take off? Zupord is my pd2 char name
Cool build, but more life is always better even with blood warp. Blood warp takes 12% of _remaining_ health. Meaning you will always be above the health you would have if you had a smaller health pool, regardless of how the redemption aura works.
@@enpherno true. I’m wondering why you don’t put any IAS on the merc? When i run through an IAS calc with fana aura and stuff, it says 40ias is needed to hit max breakpoint. Might be wrong, but I was just curious.
@@enpherno oh really, must have messed something up. Where did you find this out? Im working on this build too, seems really fun. Oh and also, is there a cap for pierce on merc?
@@marcusnewman8639 just bring up the advanced stat page with the merc screen open and it tells you. very convenient. mercs can hit 100 pierce and have 66 pierce naturally, so you only need 34
Kalans legacy, arm of King leoric, trang armour, no +1/fcr slams, 20fcr ring over BK, plain skillers, plain 5res scs, less sockets on the demon machine and skull, fort on merc, plain 40 ed jewels in merc gear, topazs over ists in shako.
Great built and gear, you make the best characters,me I can’t even play when I try to login it say’s something like I have a 16 digits legacy,I don’t get it.
@@DE-gs3dm When speaking about survivability, energy pumping is more efficient than vitality pumping thanks to bone armor (one point of vitality = 2 extra health, one point of energy = 3 extra absorbed damage with bone armor).
@@Rufio6814 No, he pumped energy, not mana. He explained it in the video. When speaking about survivability, energy pumping is more efficient than vitality pumping thanks to bone armor (one point of vitality = 2 extra health, one point of energy = 3 extra absorbed damage with bone armor).
bro if u finish a play this season or have something for cold arrow amazon i would take something , i farm like crazy i can't get nothing ... its nice char
