I didn't know there was such a big change in the pv I was like oh ok maybe they changed the end but no they literally have two separate pv's, that's so strangeeee
Weird thing for me is that even though I almost always get the chance time correct, it rarely gives me the chance time PV. I literally extreme Perfected the song and It refused to give me the proper video.
so chance time successes are usually either: • particle effects • a stage upgrade • fancier camera work • a different ending • or the entire pv is changed (kagerou daze)
No its like this, if you lose the "CHANCE TIME" in kagerou days, it's like miku just started trying to avoid death from "CHANCE TIME SUCCESS".... hope this helps ^_^
❌ I have a feeling the Failed Chance time was Miku finally getting the hang of the timeline, and then she died and had to relive that same day for the nth time
Heat-Haze Days is practically just one whole Chance Time. Either you see the concert performance or you see the pre-concert of what's going on outside.
1) I can't stop laughing at that huge Tako Luka In Night Fever's chance time success XD 2) I can't be the only that cried when they read the subtitles for Sakura Rain, am I?
Leeson Learned: Make sure you succeed Chance Time in Kagerou Days or the Animators work is wasted completely (Though it's creative by how well you do in chance time determined if you're in hiyori's or hibiya's POV)

Chance time success are probably the most awesome thing that Project diva has ever introduced into its game! I hope that they keep them up, but sadly the new songs they've made doesn't have them... I really hope they come back!
I was looking at some gameplays from mix39 and they don't even have the star buildup to the chance time, so i think they got discarded in there, they are such a cool part of project diva history, i hope they come back
@@igmoreno3579 some songs in f and f2nd retained their chance time endings. Such as 2d dream fever and weekender girl. But you have to hit the note with a rainbow glow in the end for it to trigger.
Man I prefer the non-Chance Time success ending of Like and Dislike. Before I forget it's worth noting that Kagerou Daze was not the first song to have a Chance Time at the beginning of the song in the history of Project DIVA (that title goes to The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku Extreme in PD2nd/Extreme although there's no PV difference).
21:12 in project diva f 2nd ps3, that satisfying moment when you're about to complete the song and you get the chance time completely banged, and upgrade the video of miku flying towards the multicolored trails.
The most significant change is definitely Kagerou Days! Pretty much the "Failed Chance Time" makes reference to the "Passed Chance Time" and it all makes sense when you pass it. LOL
So: On the 'Classics' (songs that have been in previous games), not getting Chance Time is BASICALLY (basically, because even if you don't get chance time, they HAVE still added a little bit a extra stuff) the same thing as in the original games, and Success adds extra effects. I've gotta say, they really improved the Chance Time Differences in this game!
Camyon Wilson To be honest, it depends on the song you play. Some things have extra effects like packaged, meltdown, hatsune miku no gekishou etc. Some have new scenes when you hit chance time like kagerou days and pinky swear. And I can think of one song in the DLC pack that has a new scene when you fail chance time.
Is it weird that I actually like the camera angles better in the failed Chance Time version of Karakuri Pierrot? I love the effect change in the other version, but the closeups to certain parts of the dance in the failed one make it so much more impactful for me. Also, unrelated but... imagine if Future Tone and Mega Mix put in as much effort and creativity as the F series games did😳
Kaito. Kaito. Come here. I need to tell you something. *Kaito comes closer* *I'm shouting* DYE YOUR HAIR IN TURQUOISE IT SUITS YOU *Kaito is looking at me like I'm a psycho* DO IT, MIKU WILL LOVE YOU EVEN MORE *Kaito slowly walks away* HEY, IM NOT DONE YET *Trips* *Kaito runs* STOP
A lot of the songs came from the PSP games so those songs had their original pv if you fail chance time, other songs that were introduced in F2nd have a new chance pv altogether. And then there’s Kagerou days where it unfairly changes the whole pv if you fail chance time at the beginning
I'm going to do this because not all of the songs have english titles (I'm going to do it with the ones that have japanese titles) 0:23 Akatsuki arrival 1:48 two breaths walking 1:56 Wintry winds 2:17 Like dislike 2:48 Miracle paint 3:02 Yubikiri 3:17 Colorful X melody 4:22 Puppet clown, pierrot 5:17 A thousand year solo 6:10 Narisumashi gengar 6:22 Meltdown 8:04 Sakura no ame 8:25 This is, the happiness and peace of mind comittee 8:33 Cantarella 10:03 Romeo and Cinderella 10:21 Miku Miku ni shite ageru 10:39 Meteor 10:59 Kokoro 11:27 Break it, Break it 12:23 Close and open, demons and the dead 13:49 Double lariat 14:38 Paradichlorobenzene 14:59 Kagerou days 18:36 Two faced lovers 19:09 Envy cat walk 20:29 The intense voice of Hatsune Miku 21:06 2D dream fever
Looking back at these, I don't know why I got so excited when I got a Success. It barely changes, although it meant a lot to me somehow. Perhaps I should play it again to know why, it's been a while.
Kagerou Daze is interesting. Chance Time End: Just a normal performance with a mild catastrophe at the end Chance Time Success: Miku Tries to Stop Herself From Dying.mp4
everyone: kagerou daze me: UHM. LUKA LUKA NIGHT FEVER GETS A FREAKING TAKO LUKA(idk the word forgive me) STAGE. THIS NEEDS TO BE IN MEGA MIX IM CRYING URA OMOTE LOVERS GETS AN ENTIRE NEW PV AT THE END OKAY. kagerou daze is insane though they really said no chance time no pv
I double-scratched on Kagerou Days once because the Chance Time was at the beginning, and I wanted to see what changed Wouldn’t ya know I discovered a whole second PV, and now I double-scratch often when I play Kagerou Days to see that concert performance instead XD
I am literally closing my eyes for the kagerou daze one. I hate the pv so much but I still wanna listen to the song. I also hate how they change the entire pv.

Mushroom Princess Are you playing this on PS3? My friend explained to me that during that last giant golden star note, you need to flick only ONE of the analog sticks for the chance time success to work. If you flick both, the bonus ending cancels out.
