These are my favorite videos on RU-vid. As an e30 owner, I really appreciate all the details on the repairs. Mine is a coupe, but the sedan body style is my favorite. Classy, beautiful car.
It's good to see someone doing this before hand as you just don't think about what happens when the nozzle reaches the end of the hole LOL. Like a spitting viper. Thanks I always enjoy your content and quality!
Great video, loving this series. For anyone else attempting this project, put a piece of tape a couple inches behind the end piece so you know when to stop spraying, then you can put the tip in the opening and be careful that way. Went through a couple shirts before I figured that out.
What a brilliant series ive spent the past 2 days binge watching all 23 of your e30 videos your channel is seriously underrated. I've subscribed so I hope to see your interior restoration in the near future. Keep up the hard work your content is second to none you just need some exposure I see you at 100k subs in the near future.
awesome stuff, I will be doing this to my E30 build too, did it to my R34 when I had it so I know just how good this is. Good to find another E30 builder on RU-vid. Subscribed as its honestly some really nice footage mate!
there are plans from bmw where you can access all the cavities. there are some more in the engine bay and they suggest using it inside the hood and trunk lid too. great videos, you really motivate me to get my e30 done
Thanks! I didn't know about the rocker plugs by the lifting points. This stuff seems to work great. I've used it on my Z and plan on using it on the e30 soon. But only time will tell how well it really works. *Fingers crossed*
I did rust protection professionally for a few years, up here in Reykjavik, Iceland, where I'm from. We used Fluid Film and applied it with an airless spray gun pumping straight from a barrel at about 40-50 psi. All that was to say that you're retracting the hose way too fast. You need to be moving it back and forth at about 2" per second to get any type of coverage. EDIT: this material is way less viscous than any I've worked with before. Do your thing, sir.
I’ve always been slightly skeptical of this product. It’s very hard to prep the inside of a frame, and I just don’t feel good painting over dirt and scale. What are your thoughts on this compared to a wax coating like Fluid Film?
wow... you upload about e30 again. i love it. Peter, please teach me how to diagnosa problem e30 through 20pin socket under the hood. What software to use? please make video from it. i always enjoy your video about e30. Regard... from Indonesia.
Hey man, since most BMWs before 1991 don't have on board diagnostics(obd) for that 20 pin socket I highly recommend you go look for these. www.ecstuning.com/News/BMW_E30_3_Series_PEAKE_Scan_Tools_1984_1985_1986_1987_1988_1989_1990_1991_1992/ They're your best bet. Go on eBay that's where I got mine
Hi, the e30 looks great, I used to have an red 2 door e30. My biggest regret was selling it 13 years ago. You should check out a ch on you tube called restore it. The guy is restoring e30 also. A total nut and bolt restore.
Hi! I find your e30 series awesome! And i have a question about the product you are useing, do you know an european equivalent maybe? I cannot find any trustworthy opinion about this substances. Thank you and keep the videos coming!
