@@TheTinski07 Yes indeed I know I did some paintwork in my garage tent, were just done with it then the winter came well early in first part of November.2021.,
Great job , was the paint 2 pack? if so did you have to use full breathing gear iwas told you do but see some people claiming to use it with just a fliter type mask , paint looks great to me
Thank you. No it's actually single pack acrylic. I'm using it regularly now instead of 2k paint. It does take much longer to dry but flashes off quickly enough and compounds really well. You do use considerably more of it though but then it's also quite a bit cheaper. That van had 5 coats inside and out and took 5ltrs thinned 3:2 I've stopped with 2k over the health risks
@@TheTinski07 thanks so much for the reply i used to use Celulose in the old days but been using synthetics but disappointed with results , keep posting the videos there superb very informative
@@paulcottam128 Thank you. 2k is superior but I've been messing with it long enough now it has me concerned and I have a steady stream of projects now so doing a fair amount of painting. Isocyanates apparently satchurate regular filters without warning so air fed masks from an external supply are the answer but then you are again exposed by overspray dust and even colour sanding. Sudden onset asthma and sensitising to it seem to be the risk. I'm sure no type is great but can only do what we can for ourselves I guess. Thanks for watching. Loads to come
