For the better part of 5 year we have released our annual summary from all the courses and activities we’ve undertaken.
This year - instead of doing that - we are right here, talking to all of you. 2020 has been a truly unique year, with COVID throwing all of us a curve ball. But I’m proud of what we have managed to achieve. We adapted, and turned the year around into the most successful year for PG. More than 6 organizations have adopted our CQB methodology, hundreds of students participated in our courses. We finished writing a book, finished a 4 years of research regarding force on force, and many more achievements. These achievements aren’t business-related in my eyes. But rather a positive outcome, of a relentless effort to create better and safer skills techniques and tactics for a variety of applications.I would love to share all of this with you, but the truth of the matter is that we can’t publish most of the videos from our activities this year due to PERSEC. But what we can do, is simply to say thank you.Thank you to our cadre of instructors, who while being a member of our team, are also active service members. Thank you to the support staff in Project Gecko, for keeping up with my mad science behavior and total nerding out moments, Thank you to the Law enforcement and military communities for the support and effort to raise the training standards in Europe, and beyond. Thank you to our partners from UF PRO, ACT in Black, TACWRK, Direct Action and Rheinmetall, and all of the people who supported not only us, but our clients as well.But also thank you guys, for the support and engagement.www.ProjectGecko.info

I came to the comment section the SECOND he said they'd written a book. Former USMC MOUT instructor here, Iraq and Afghanistan deployments, and imo; Eli/Gecko/this system deserve a lot more attention. I noticed Eli's instruction through some clothing brands RU-vid channel, but his depth of knowledge was clearly indicative of more than a gear salesperson. Everything they produced that was taught by him, I watched twice, then looked until I found gecko. Here's the catch: most of what he teaches about CQB is in stark contrast to what I was taught to teach by the Corps. We prioritized momentum and violence of action above all else. I've spent a lot of time thinking about how differently things might have been in Fallujah and Ramadi if this more cautious approach to had been applied. It's hard to say. But I do know that pretty much everything I see from Gecko rings true with my natural reactions to dangerous situations, and makes a lot more sense than most of the curriculum I helped perpetuate. If it's called a 'fatal' funnel, why are we so eager to pour people into it? It gives me hope that organizations are adopting your method; I think it will save lives if taken seriously and trained hard. Semper.

Love your CQB pro guide on UF pro. That’s how I found your channel! Maybe doing something similar on this channel would attract more people? Anyway, good to hear you are doing well. Eli was adorable in this video, as far as one can call an apex predator adorable ;)

Happy New Year Eli!! Love your videos and training. The lockdowns is what destroyed the economy, not the “virus” by the way. Many businesses weren’t afraid of the virus 🦠

For now, we keep it for govermental organizations only, as i realized that it contains things that are too sensitive. but generally speaking, exactly because of this, we will work a different edition which will be released to the public.

@@ProjectGecko I really enjoy learning about the tactics and love your videos. However, I cannot understand why knowledge should be restricted to government only? What in a book about CQB could possibly be to sensitive for civilians? What are you planning to editing out? If I am to buy your book I would appreciate the satisfaction that I am getting all of the knowledge possible, not a watered down version for civilians.
@ryean1_aus
@ryean1_aus 3 года назад
@@declandonovan9067 It's called OPSEC and TTPSEC. It's frankly none of your business what is excluded. End of story. If you are MIL/LEO then contact PG for other options if that is relevant to you.
@declandonovan9067
@declandonovan9067 3 года назад
@@ryean1_aus it is my business what is and isn't included in a book because I am conducting business by purchasing this book so it is by definition my business. Also me reading a book isn't going to compromise opsec unless names of individuals involved or radio frequencies are mentioned (etc). This is why I'm asking what's being edited out, I have no problem buying a book that has names or radio frequencies edited out, what I do have a problem with is if certain tactics are altered or left out from the original copy.
@ryean1_aus
@ryean1_aus 3 года назад
@@declandonovan9067 OPSEC covers a range of operational elements NOT just names and frequencies. Hence why I also mentioned TTPSEC. Again, it's none of anyone's business what is excluded. It's up to the business or authour what information they choose to publish and publisize.
