Good on you for having a go on your own Currently I,m building a 1954 International AR110 Pickup with a 283 inline 6 cylinder twin carby,s Borgwarner Diff for better hwy gears 2 1/2 inch exhaust into 3 inch exiting just forward of rear wheel drivers side with tuned Headers I,m lucky the cab is 99% rust free paint to come
Yep just my preference the rear has to much taken out. That extra 1/4” that was removed made a big change bringing the back down and throwing the door top out of level. As I said my preferred look is having it look like the chop came down level to keep the door top same as stock. Now that being said with it sloping down at the rear is kinda along a Merc chop where the rear slope creates a tear drop effect. So it may actually give it a cool unique look. Ether way it’s your truck you’re the only opinion that matters. Gona watch part two and if it changes my mind if ya keep the rear down slope.
Well this is the last video of this project. Seems it got abandoned for another project that’s a 180 degrees away from any Hot rod 😿. A bummer as I liked watching your approach on the rat rod truck. The new projects are for a different crowd. I’d check back now and then to see if this got going again but being it’s was 4 years ago there’s no reason to bother checking back.
Apologies for not seeing this before now. The project was put on hold, but should resume in the fall in full force. There's a second video filmed of the chop that will be edited and put out when the project restarts.
Sorry I missed this. Unfortunately I don’t have the shop space to continue with the build at this time so I put it in storage. In the market for a new place so it will return one day.
