As someone who has helped developing Project Kaiju, i can tell you that you did a great job at explaining this. Its not the developers that are causing all of this drama, after all, developers from both games like big monster breaking things. The problems are the communities, and the viewer-thirsty RU-vidrs, such as Ultio Gameplay. They are the ones causing all of this drama. If they had never started, there would most likely not be any problems between the games. Most of the times, KU fans go to PK videos and comment "KU (x kaiju) looks better, PK is Shit" without no reason at all, creating non- necessary drama without reason. And, many times they complain about gameplay, which is EXTREMELY stupid, considering they're really different games. In one hand, you have Project Kaiju, which is undoubtly a Kaiju Combat game, based on skill, and not the kaiju you're using, While on the other hand, you have Kaiju Universe, which is also a really good game but its playstyle is different since unlike PK, this game is supossed to be more of a simulator game rather than a combat one. Basically, its stupid seeing fans from both sides saying X game's gameplay sucks, because, after all, they're completely different. In conclusion, both games are really good, but the drama starts when most of the times, youtubers that want views create drama, and the next part is quite known.
Update: someone has mentioned that I should blur the name of the RU-vidr who does the comparison videos. I should've known to hide the name because despite the fact that it's 1st grade learning that you shouldn't harass people for some reason people do it anyway. Please if you know the name do not harass them that's not what the video is made for.
Just discovered Project Kaiju today, before I played tons of Kaiju Universe. The Project Kaiju graphics look way cooler in my opinion, and the combat feels much more arcade like, I can't tell which one I like better but I agree with this video, people shouldn't compare two video games that have the same premise, because it's been done a million times before. You can't have claim over a genre or style of game.
Tbh I don’t like project kaiju as much as ku just caused ku is simple and whenever I play project kaiju I get comboed by some dick and not one of my attacks ever lands on the other guy

When I played the original pk I got so excited whenever I pulled a combo on someone, oh those were the good old days. Tbh I think what you need is confidence in pk, with confidence you can achieve things you never thought you could.

Comparing Project Kaiju to Kaiju Universe is like comparing the Death Star to an orange simply because they are both round. There two completely different types of Kaiju games, Kaiju Universe is a PVP game but also is a Sandbox game, Project Kaiju on the other hand is only PVP.
i personally prefer ku because the gameplay is more simple and has sandbox elements rather than the complex pvp that is the main focus of pk. this does not mean pk is a bad game obviously, i just prefer the style that ku has. pk does have many strong points such as attention to detail like how mv godzilla can crawl.
I think KU is better just because its much more simple and less laggy, im not saying PK has bad pvp but its way too skill dependent and non begginer friendly
As I said in other channels comparison videos, both are good in their own right, and both have some flaws. I love both equally because they are well made Kaiju games that have developers that love the Kaiju just as much as me, if not more because they went out of their way to model and animate each individual one with so much love and care on a platform you wouldn't think could handle it. Just be happy all of you get to at least experience Kaiju games that are free and well made. I know most of y'all are like 13 but being older than 90% of y'all , I grew up with Godzilla Ultimate Destruction and Save the Earth on the PS2. These games emulate those models and everything very well. It's nostalgic to me lol. Best games on Roblox by far.
Aw man remember the days when it was just kaiju online and the original sandbox project kaiju. It was so much less toxic... kaiju universe the descendent of kaiju online has become so much more popular that it’s become very toxic. Project kaiju has changed so much as well yet people are arguing about two games that are completely different in mechanics, kaiju and the game itself. Aw well toxicity in popular games is 100% gonna happen no matter what.
Another dumb thing both of them argue about is the gameplay; Kaiju Universe fans will get all riled up because of PK's PVP being too hard to learn for them, and Project Kaiju fans say that KU's PVP is too simple.
The mechanics and gameplay of each game have their charm, and that only grabs specific people, not all. KU just scratches this itch of mine, which could just be the game being charming in a way. Like the reply above me, it comes down to preference. Let the games keep their uniqueness.

Pk being too hard for ku players to learn means thier dogs are smarter than 99% of then as pk especially 3.0 where most of this drama starter was really simple and 4.0 is just 1% harder to learn
To be honest. I completely agree with you man. Personally, Although I play PK more. Kaiju universe is on my list of games to play and I quite enjoy it. I dont know why people try to compare them, it doesn't help. I make comparison videos but not from pk and ku. From 3.0 and 4.0 for PK. Its so annoying and needs to stop...
Its because of both communities are childish. Despite both communtiies saying that there "filled with teenagers" the morons over in the communitys compare still.
i have played both of the games and they are both really good. like KU has more monsters, but less mechanics than PK. while with PK has kaiju that KU doesn't have, and more mechanics, but has less kaiju. the models are both great in many ways. Also in PK, KU fans will say its more annoying from the combos (i do think it would be fun if combos were in KU). But then you have custom teamers in KU. Yes people team in PK but there are no rules for teaming in in PK. Its annoying yes, but if you know how to play well then you will be able to kill both of them. While in KU its not as easy. To say the least they are both as good as each other in almost every way.
The only reason i might choose one over the other is just what mood im in, if im having more fun in pk rn then im probably gonna pick it, and vice versa.
I am glad someone made a video on this. People comparing two different games are pretty cringe and dumb(and well, that's not surprising because these communities have children fanbase) Like everywhere in youtube, you can find those comments on any pk or ku videos. And that's pretty hilarious and cringe to me. Because those are different games. Kaiju universe is more of a simulator when pk is an actual fighting game. Plus none of these games own any godzilla monsters and people are saying shit like "bro this game copied this kaiju blah blah". Well, they can say that when one of these games copied another game's original character. Both games are good on their own and there's no need to compare them. They need to stop.

Well, KU’s was made to be more of an amalgamation of all the suits into one model, so that’s why it’s not exactly fully accurate to one movie. Also, the modeler does have some creative liberty.
Ok ima try to sum up what is good abt both games: pk is better for skilled players (mainly with pcs or other good hard where), and KU is better for mobile players and players who want a bigger variety of kaijus and don’t wanna get kicked cus their graphics are over two
@@marcusordonez2463 I get your opinion, but put it in my prospective. I have almost every Kaiju, (not Minilla and not some gamepasses), I have a bunch of G-cells, I have basically all the content in KU. So that's why I find PK so great, is its replayable with its combat.
@@MasterMaddox64 the combat in ku is actually really replayable. Right now pk is very similar in terms of replayability. BUT pk is in testing rn so I do think that you might be right later on once it fully comes out.
Well one is just the pipeworks trilogy updated with some original characters and the other is a simulator-ish game with a ton of monsters and it's a free for all-ish game
When i wanted to start project kaiju for the first time, it says im not old enough (like litterally i put an older age in) thats the problem i have with PK, but ever since i watched gameplay of PK, it was actually a really good game and the graphics are great not gonna lie

You could literally compare Soulshatters and PK and it would still make more sense, meanwhile KU is a simulator and PK is a combat game. Completely different gameplay and people still try to compare it.

Both are very well developed games overall, KU has their flaws and downsides, so does PK. I don't really find a reason to have a debate over which games have better models or PVP system. I personally think we should draw a line with this big debate over which game is better, and call it a stalement because both games are extremely well done.
I get the feeling of comparing two games, but overall it’s gong to lead into an argument even though they are just kaiju games nothing different from there.
I tried pk once on mobile like a year ago and it didn't go very well, so I think Ima stick to getting my ass kicked by pc players on ku. (Specifically getting beaten while flying as flying combat for mobile is pretty ass)
Fun Fact: when I was like 10 - 11 I’d always make fun of other people’s kaiju games and I was a KU fanboy but since now I’m 12-13 I don’t like KU anymore cuz now Ik how it feels to be made fun off and now Ik how much Blade and his team worked hard on kaiju’s such as: Zilla Jr, Showa Gigan, G 2000, and Orga and even MV, Heisei, Destroyah, Kong and MORE! Both games are good in their own way kaiju universe have no stuns so you basically can’t combo so is like a battle royal who gets the most health wins and for project kaiju is just a big map that kaijus go crazy at it both game have great model. they are not stealing from each other is just the fans that think their favorite kaiju game is the best kaiju game and other kaiju game are trash
I've played both games for a long time and comparing them is proper stupid. Sure I will always prefer Pk, because the combat is more fair and requires skill to do well and it stresses me out less, because if I lost I messed up. Ku is also a pretty good game but it stresses me out a lot thanks to its awful community that ruins it for me. But how I see it is this: Pk is more for people who love PvP and enjoy the challenge of mastering a character while Ku is more casual and is more of an Adventure/ collector game with PvP elements mixed in. Very different games.
I hate how every kaiju game is compared to Kaiju Universe, like Kaiju Universe is it’s own thing and other Kaiju games can exist without being clones and be very good, they aren’t trying to compete with each other at all Both games are god, some games that aren’t even out like Kaiju Kingdom are already being comparators to Kaiju Universe 🤦♂️
Its mainly because Ku started comparing with pk. But its prob also due to the fact that KU is the most popular kaiju game and that the Pk community is prob just trying to fill their ego by saying its better then KU

I play both games and I think pk is better than ku because well it has orga but the main point is that pk has a combat system, not a slapping simulator while grinding your life away to get a kaiju when you can just play as them in pk
I like KU for the entertainment of watching a server be a bunch of goofballs and mess around as rodans while saying “bread” And I like PK cuz of the amazing combo animations and the ultimate moves, tbh I hope we get more kaiju fighting games But I can’t play PK cuz my phone keeps crashing :( Hope you enjoy my review of both games
I love both of them verret and The bladeninja I think that their games are very fun and I love both of their models skins from PK looks very nice in the models for G19 in KU just phenomenal as person that loves the G-man it’s very sad to see these two communities Duking it out because this Godzilla game is better than the other Godzilla game I really had very fun memories by getting Ultima It took me days to get Ultima and getting my first Kaiju maxed jet jaguar beta and having a amazing time PK
OK I’m not starting a war but project kaiju has the best models. Let me explain for the other game they put a lot of effort, but for a kaiju universe, which is what I meant they just don’t make it as impressive project. Kaiju actually takes the time and verse a video of the blade ninja, actually using beta models that aren’t even done yet, which to me is just really impressive. Yeah sure it doesn’t update as much but it’s all about the effort you put into the models.
AY IM IN THIS VIDEO!! To the point now, I feel its ku community starts these fights every time. Pk community is much more mature, while ku is filled with children who like a simpler game. Overall, I feel it's ku fans that are wrong here.
