I'm really hoping this is going to be as cool as the trailer makes it look. It just seems way too good and ambitious to be true. But I will be very pleasantly surprised if it is.
Highly doubt it... It looks like another case of setting yourself up for failure by building up insane expectations and failing to deliver because of it. The game probably won't be horrible by any means, but I have no expectation for it to be even near the trailer
genshin is like that and we've spend billions, (as long as the girls are cute and the animations are smooth they look like they are. We'll enjoy it, since evryone is tired of genshin!@@Atomic-Potato
I remember that this game was not like that before. I remember the beta when the game was still owned by other people or so I suppose because before there was the beta on a Chinese page that seemed to have a virus but I remember seeing gameplays of other people in the Spanish-speaking community, I don't remember. I don't think I had the name of the game I am using a translator The pink haired girl used to be a white haired girl with a ponytail hairstyle, long white hair and now she became a loli. With everything I remember I can tell you that if the game was very good before now that I assume it belongs to other people the game has improved a lot and it looks very good in the trailer I think it will be very good I am too excited
This feels like it was made from the few corners of my brain that can still feel joy. I love every single thing about this. I love the marketing too. The website is soooo chill too. Love all of this.
Mugen (stylized as M.U.G.E.N) is a freeware 2D fighting game engine designed by Elecbyte. Content is created by the community, and thousands of fighters, both original and from popular fiction, have been created. It is written in C and originally used the Allegro library. The latest versions of the engine use the SDL library.
im not gonna lie i didnt expect this: Fluid and smooth cutscenes Interresting looking story just from the trailer amazing character animations the combat looks insane and the music at least in the trailer is really good ill give it a go on release
its the cliche of asian stories.. a bad entity/guy trying to destroy the world because humans r bad, big boobed girl, lolis, the ''only guy'', the ''why im here, i want to have feelings'' girl... etc and maybe the ends are gods or 4th wall crashed.
@@BingChi0this looks so much better than Zenless so far tho lol. It just seems too good to be real based on this trailer lol. Zenless is gonna be fun but its lacking in so many ways.
@@Kooki_MawnsterI thought Genshin was a terrible game after playing a while but after the map expansions it feels like all my wishes for a game came true. Honestly what an amazing game, doesn't deserve the hate it gets at all.
@hgdased Haha awe awesome that you ended up loving it, it has some imperfections as any game does, but you can't help but enjoy the love the creators put into the game..
The game is not even out and it is already a competitor?😂 people said that about tower of fantasy. 😅 genshin have build a fanbase, so this game will have to really impress and go beyond to get people attention.
@@ryuuotaku35 Tower of fantasy was also marketed as "Genshin Killer", that didn't go well.. From trailer, this one indeed looks promising. Will depend on actual thing
ngl its the reason why this things name got me so confused like "why is a mugen game generating so much buzz, did someone make some character that bricks your pc or something?"
I'm hoping the characters have more than one skill, and can also combine them or have them both running at the same time. Think it would make for some cool and efficient combos and/or a bunch of theorycrafting.
The game hasn't even been released yet and it's already giving me the 50/50 gacha feeling. It's exciting to see which one would happen, 50% chance they deliver, exceed expectations and a new masterpiece of a game is born or 50% chance that Netease just doing Netease stuff would fck up bigtime and the game becomes an utter failure.
Honestly, even without Netease, this would probably still fall in the same gacha trap (or live service trap) as basically all other gachas/live service games do. It is a gacha live-service game, they have to keep pumping out content after all, which will eventually result in content droughs, drawn out story that will never end with lots of filler, and pointless dailies. Such a shame that these types of games are almost always gacha live service games nowadays. Would love to see a single player game like this without all that bs and just be a finished, self-contained story. Sadly, that's probably never gonna happen.
@@CosmstackThe game you are thinking of is called a JRPG, which we still get and often still goated but rarely games in this style are ever actual JRPGs.
I will never forget the excitement I had when I saw this trailer, unfortunately with the lack of news for so long and the zenless combat remaining the same, I believe that only I remember its existence
I hope so 😅 from this video, gameplay and the graphic is awesome, but sorry to say the music is mehh. Even WW music still hit harder Hoping the story and especially in-game shop & currency (their monetization) is good enough
I really want them to lean more into that. If I can use anything as a weapon/projectile like you could in nexus, that'll sell me on at least giving this a shot then and there
This looks like every anime and comic fan dream. You can swing like spiderman, a story similar to an anime with fantastic visuals and dialogue and story. As well as gameplay
@@justsomecheezyguy And it’s a great mechanic that’s being applied elsewhere, problem? Games take inspiration from each other all the time, if mechanics were gatekept from each other, we wouldn’t have as many memorable game titles we have today coming from all sorts of genres
@@alreawon1212 Cash grabs are bound to be in almost every game nowadays and that’s the only kind of “inspiration” I don’t like. Kinda bad example tho since Genshin’s gacha mechanic has a pretty forgiving pity system, as well as gacha mechanics just existing way before Genshin.
All references in the video - Spiderman map and free swinging - GTA driving - Genshin graphics - Gojo tower scene from JJK op - Chainsaw man theater scene from op - Oshi no Ko cheering scene - DMC5 combat And ive definitely missed a tom
I just hope that the regular enemies are actually challenging and not dumb because they appear to be goody from this trailer. Lots of video games also suffer the same problem where they only focus on the bosses and ignore the regular enemies' potential. Looking forward to see a new & really cool open world game
So Caelus & his new gang are now Edgerunners & he suddenly has feelings for Kiana but the government kidnapped her cause of her powers...so the government uses her powers to create an artificial unknown god,Caelus & the gang are on a mission to save Kiana. . . .ok then
Except one is a single-player game that's a one time purchase and this is going to be another F2P "forever" game that tries to empty the time and wallets of all that play it.
Bruh, I thought Project Mugen was ZZZ. I was so hype for the game's release on 4 July to experience the open world and traversal. Turns out, I mistook about the game 😭🗿
This brings me to the time when i played prototype, infamous, spiderman, and sunset overdrive (without stating the obvious genshin) honestly if this is going to be close to that but (probably) with gacha elements i can see it be really really good
Considering that we saw many different characters being playable there's a high chance that it's a gacha game or maybe we can unlock different characters by doing objectives or something similar
Lol I saw Mugen and my mind immediately went to the open source fighting game thing; for a second I thought they were making a full, big studio version of that.
this could become one of the best game ever if it's a success, plz take your time to release it we'll wait for you (especially if i can do all that with friends)
I know nothing of this but the swinging around looks very spiderman, the third person shooting mode is normal lol, but overall I'm getting dragon raja vibes like an very big overhaul version of it. I'm not to sure about this one I'll at least try it probably.
