This truck is just amazing. I love the detail.....for crying out loud you have a scale "Optima" battery in the back....That's just great attention to detail. If you ever decide to sell cage chassis so the rest of us can build one, I'd order one right now....that is just so cool looking.

In my option trophy trucks are the most badass thing on the planet! You nailed it with this rig! That's the coolest RC I have ever seen!

I just found your channel about a month ago. I used to race 1/8 nitro buggy and truggy. Short course trucks came on the scene a couple years before I stopped racing and I loved the scale look! I built an Associated nitro SC8 before I quit racing and never got to race it because there was no 1/8 short course classes, but it was a pile of fun on the track. Your channel has given me the RC bug again. It has become my favourite RC channel on RU-vid. I don’t know how to weld, but I have friends who say they can teach me how to do it. I’m certainly thinking of building a 4wd truck like what you built in your latest truck, if I can ever find the time with my hectic schedule. I’m so out of the loop though, and I can’t figure out what drivetrain you are using that is IFS/solid rear axle and centre with strong enough diffs for the weight and power of your rig. Do you have any videos outlining your parts selection/choices for the drivetrain? Watching your suspension setups in slo-mo is like watching the real thing! Keep up the excellent work, it’s pretty motivating to see how much skill and passion that you have for these rigs.

At first i was thinking wow that truck is very heavy, but then after thinking about it i thought that the weight must help with the suspension acting the same as a 1:1 scale! btw insane work man i love this truck!!!

For a pilot and Co driver check out some airplane busts...I use them in my rc boats..super detailed and can be fitted to the cockpit. AWESOME BUILD

Wild Willys figures look cool for race trucks... Hpi interior would look good as well. I like to build my own from styrene and foam board.

This is absolutely perfect I've been an off road race fan for my hole life and I've raced rc at some of the higher levels but this truck is the best I've ever seen you did an awesome job I'd want to buy one of these ut us that good ;-)

For drivers for this i would look closely at the interior parts for the axial yeti or vaterra twin hammers? If you really want to go light. Rc4wd also sells a plastic driver figure with helmets that could be modified as a bust. You could also look at modifying a rider for an rc motorcycle.

You can also print your own decals on any injet printer. Just buy clear water transfer paper and you can print decals.

For the figure, there are loads of 1:10 Tamiya figurines, but many are comic style, so not good for a scale truck without modification. But check Tamiya parts: Tamiya - 9225045 Tamiya - 1825096 Or alternatively Tamiya - 9000307 and replace the comically large head with Tamiya - 9225045 Many people neglect the driver figure, but I think it adds so much to the scale look!

Nice vid! I know that Integy makes these REALLY stiff orange springs for rear Traxxas shocks that might fit.

You should try mip bypass1 shocks. Not only are they what the real trucks use, but they will be perfect to give u the compression damping you need without having to much rebound. Or vise versa

Would the suspension setup work on the Axial Yeti Score? I would think it does so what did you use in the rear suspension. It is amazing and I would love to improve my Score trophy truck with that.

What rc vehicle did you use for the, suspension and components, gearbox, motor, etc etc, looking into building my own im just curious, so i have a starting point. Watched all your videos on these and none of them explains these details

ok i have been watching alot of your videos and i am still not sure so i must ask you do you use the yeti or baja rey? i have noticed the axle pumpkin in the middle but im not sure if you could be running an after market axle for the yeti, or simply the aluminum upgrade for the baja rey

WOW thats the best sc build ive seen. I very nearly made a similar body. Proline flotec. I copied the box art black/white then i put my own monster stickers on just like this. Then one day on Google i found the real one and couldn't believe i nearly pulled it off by accident. Now. What cage is that? Can it suit a slash lcg 4x4?

If this was a kit I would definitely get it If only I'm on a custom 2wd buggy based on the dt02 tamiya using some parts from my tt01 I just need dremels and longer shocks and metal

How did you get the lights to be able to attach to a regular battery?

are you still having problems with your spring rates? if so have you thought about switching to some associated threaded big bore shocks and or 1/8 scale shocks?
