Time to get a 3D printer guys! The speaker situation would be resolved in 30 minutes in a CAD software, and 2-3 hours of printing, Fast, cheap, customizable! PS: this series is just awesome. I've been binging the episodes in the last two days, cant get enough!
It was thanks to my boss who bought a brand new p1 back in 2001 that I bought my y2k UK turbo at the age of 24 at the same time! It cost me £20k and I was skint for the next 5 years, ended up keeping the car for 17 years before selling it on. These cars were epic!
Not happy with the amount of video's coming from Torque so I'm ordering night shifts now.🤣 I had the same issue with my door speakers and replaced with Hertz into a MDF housing template. 👍
Wow so much job done on this video. I'm happy and sad at the same time 'cause we can see the end of this project coming. I don't mind the speaker since the motor is the only music I'm listening when driving the P1 😂
I remember I made an MDF parcel shelf for my first car following a how-to out of a Max Power magazine it looked ok for something made by a 17 year old. I guess the alternative these days would be to 3d print a bracket. Lots of people can make them if you don't mind giving them all the measurements etc.
Coming along superbly. Can see it becoming a collection piece and not seeing the tarmac very often. Ps is it Sonic blue? It looks more like WR blue in the videos.
I had a Silver Uk Spec year 2000 Impreza Turbo 5 DR, it was a great car, at the time it was 215 BHP and standard, I think from memory the specs were 0 -60 mph in 5.8 seconds and 142mph, which was very good in its day. Do you have any plans to increase the performance of the engine in this P1 or are you keeping it standard?
Please do all of us a huge favor. Don't sell the project, keep it and maybe do some races in a racetrack. The project is becoming more beautiful each episode.
Don’t sell it keep if the time that’s goes into something like this money doesn’t bring back keep it for your Collection it’s going to look amazing when it’s finished
@@feedingfrenzy123 honestly you could've just kept this response. This isn't a piece of a string, it's a Subaru Impreza P1 restoration, meaning it has a price. Which interestingly enough comes from the parts and labour put into the build. Thanks for being as useful as your piece of string comment.
